I hope Trump does not overlook John Bolton.
Nyet on that. He is a milquetoast.
If you want a lot of sound, fury and theater, he is your man. Just do not ever expect results because that is not the way the insiders work in D.C.
Nothing in his congressional record impresses me except that he talks a good game.
Sorry, not buying the groupthink consensus on Trey.
Good Choice if his congressional seat can be protected. We are on a razors edge right now as far as control is concerned.
This would be a great choice!
Mixed feelings. Not enough by way of results. Talks good though.
Why not Giuliani?
I want a pitbull. Rudy.
Rudolf Giuliani
I want Rudy as attorney general. He has the credentials and will clean that place the eff out!!!
Why would Trey Gowdy as AG be awesome?
Nobody lost their job or went to jail as a result of his kabuki theatre hearings.
Gordy has a velvet tongue, clever and quick as hell. He loves the law and knows it well.
It would be awesome if we needed a government of bullshit artists.
Either is acceptable.
Giuliani would be better.
Then what happens to Gowdy’s senate seat?
Guliani
AG has to be The President’s attorney. This has to be Giuliani. Nixon had Mitchell. Reagan had Casey (former CIA spook). Bush had Al Gonzolez hoping to make him a Supreme Court Justice and thus the first Hispanic and ya da da, but Al was weak and not particularly helpful to Bush or able to deal with Leahy, Kennedy and Schumer. They have to be a bit closer to serving only the President while also serving Justice. Holder and Lynch are tied to Obama at the hip, his alter ego. So yes make Rudy The AG, but let Trey be the AG in charge of criminal justice prosecutions and over the various U S Attorneys in the Judicial Districts. Put someone with a brain over the civil rights division who will treat true hate crimes against whites the same as those against Muslims and Blacks, etc.
Gowdy nails it on the rule of law! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTsIOqggfmg
I’m not enthusiastic for Gowdy. His greatest talent seems to be asking crushing questions in front of a camera and rolling over as soon as the cameras stop.
