Despite 24/7 complaints from Democrats that Hillary Rodham Clinton won the popular vote, support for the Electoral College system, which President-elect Trump won, has surged since the election.
Electoral college may win the popular vote!
The Red zones have overwhelming control over the amendment process. Not going to happen.
This election just about proves why we need the electoral college! Keep the stupid majority from murdering and exploiting the informed and patriotic minority!
It’s as simple as this:
There should be no way that California should be able to dictate to the entire nation.
In discussing the election, I’ve been telling people that Hillary didn’t win the popular vote.
What I’ve been telling them, is that Hillary got a plurality, more votes than anyone else, but not a majority. So it’s not really true to say Hillary won the popular vote.
I’ve also told people that her entire margin over Trump can be said to come out of California. So if you back out California vote totals from the national totals, both electoral vote and popular vote, then Trump had a landslide in the other 49 states.
When I tell some liberal leaning types these things, they get all flustered and grumpy and tend to shut up.
One of their unresolved problems of the Constitution was that the United States Supreme Court had no check.
Its time for a rebirth of 8th grade Civics classes.
Also, want to add, I’ve told these liberals that nobody bitched about it, when Bill Clinton won a clear electoral vote victory with only 43% of the popular vote in 1992. That too leaves them flustered with no snappy snarky comebacks.
Support for the Electoral College is an indication of widespread disaffection with centralized government and a desire to keep the states relevant and empowered.
Do they even teach civics anymore???
I know the way the curricula in schools have evolved, that what is taught in schools nowadays is very different than what many of us were taught.
Donald Trump won the popular vote in 30 out of 50 states!
Trump was right ...if you take out the illegal vote he would have won the popular vote!!

Hillary won only 50 electoral votes from states in the interior of America. The bulk of her support came from bicoastal liberal enclaves.
Finally, we have a College that does not have safe zones, that does not have marxist professors, that does not have trigglypuff warriers, that if Ann Coulter wanted to speak to it would be AOK... and the liberals want to get rid of it.
Take a look at her popular vote win in Los Angeles County
as compared to her total popular vote win nationwide.
Change it to ONE VOTE PER STATE.
Each State gets one vote - whoever wins the most States wins the Presidency.
