I think this would be a constitutional way of circumventing the original intent of the electoral process. “
1) Most states are controlled by a Republican governor and/or at least one house that is Republican...so it won’t be so easy to change it.
2) That cuts both ways.
3) The Dems are not going to be getting those majorities in the popular vote so easily once Trump gets done with getting rid of a lot of illegals AND some kind of anti-fraud statute is passed on a national level. Get a level playing field, and then the Dems won’t do so well.
We really need to up the penalties for harassing/threatening an elector. These people’s lives have been a living hell since Nov. 8.
The Left is trying to kill the EC thru the back door.
If no one wants to be an elector, you can’t have an EC.
Hillary won Colorado anyway.

Jimmy Carter proposed ditching the EC too.
The idea died quietly when it was pointed out to him that there were scenarios in which this would not necessarily benefit Democrats.

Think for a minute how much ‘EDUCATION’ the Founders had as a group.
They built the country—wrote the Constitution & created the Electoral College.
Not bad for many who never got past 6th grade or so.
And all you hear to day from Liberals is that we are all ‘uneducated’ & ‘deplorable’.
We had the round bales. I used a hay hook until I worked with an old fellow (mid to late 60s) who used a three tined short handled pitch fork to sling them up on the wagon. Their’s were not quite a dense as ours, but I learned to do that & found it much more efficient. Don’t remember any bailed snakes in SE Nebraska, but most off the time the bails had been laying in the field for a week or so.
I don't think Maine meets until like 3 pm Eastern. No official canvass has been taken.
