WASHINGTON (AP) -- A White House official says President Donald Trump could announce his pick for the Supreme Court as early as Monday.
Trump originally said the announcement would come on Thursday, but the official says the timeframe could be sped up.

Typical. I say he will come out and address the immigration thing forcefully first, live. There have been no tweets this morning so I see that as he is already working on a more direct response.

Well the left is already in meltdown mode over this Muslim ban. Maybe this will set heads exploding.
I wish they would not say “Pro-life” candidates. They don’t need to, all they need to say is “Constitutional.” All the pro-abortion court decisions are unconstitutional so it all works out.

Trump isn’t using surprise announcement to switch from negative coverage. He’s just giving them so much stuff to cover, the media couldn’t settle on which to attack trump with
That would knock the immigration ban off the headlines. And give the left a whole new topic to march against.

Day two: Cover expressions of shock by Democrats.
Day three: Bad polls.
Day four: "Concern" by "leading Republicans".
Day five: Press conference with leading questions regarding "many are troubled".
Day six: New "national movement" to oppose the policy.
Day seven: Demands for hearings by Democrats.
Day eight: Fake hate crimes against opponents of policy.
Day nine: Students walking out of classes.
And so on.
Except Trump announces his NEXT attack on them on the morning of Day three at the latest, which completely disrupts the MSM narrative machine and stalls the creation of a faux opposition movement, while at the same time he is reaching out to traditional constituencies of the enemy like unions and blacks.
Just watch. Today or tomorrow he will name a Supreme Court Justice and suck all the air out of the "Muslim Ban". As soon as they start in on the nominee, he will send 250 FBI agents into Chicago to arrest felons in possession of a firearm, and as soon as the ACLU is on the case, he will announce a summit with Putin in Aleppo (or whatever).
I can't stand all this winning!
Schumer will wipe the glycerin tears from his eye will announcing that the nominee is DOA in his Senate and he will instruct McConnell accordingly.
McConnell will mumble something about cominity and pull his head into his shell.
McCain will babble about “reaching across the aisle” and Linda Graham will say “What he said”!
GOPe will throw themselves in front of the bulldozer. Got to keep their standing invites to all the right Georgetown Cocktail Parties, ya know. And keep those Soros dollars rolling in!
Predict “THEY” will say Trump’s choice will not represent American values.
These “anonymous WH officials” need to be treated like fake news purveyors - unless Trump is playing the LSM by having them “leak” stuff in a way to help set them up for another egg on face moment....
