I remember hearing the same old song ever since I was in elementary school. Most of the species I see listed as going extinct,
and of course due to man, are invertebrates, but what I also recall is that every year they seem to discover or rediscover insects and animals that scientists were sure were extinct.
The sky is falling, the world is on fire, the ice is melting, the seas are rising, fracking will shake the earth apart........gimme dat gimme dat gimme dat research grant!
