Glenn Beck Slams Blaze TV Host Tomi Lahren After Abortion Comments

The Blaze founder Glenn Beck on Monday took to Twitter to question whether one of the most popular television hosts on his network was intellectually honest.

Beck was criticizing Tomi Lahren, host of TheBlaze TV’s “Tomi.”

Lahren has been criticized in some conservative circles after a Friday appearance on ABC’s "The View" for revealing that she supports abortion rights.

“You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well,” Lahren said. On Monday, Lahren tweeted that she has “moderate, conservative, and libertarian views.”

“I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker.”

Beck, a former Fox News host, shot back at Lahren on Twitter on Monday.

“Wait, libertarian views? Help me out on Trumpcare, stimulus, and executive orders. Trump is anything but libertarian,” wrote Beck, while adding the hashtag #intellectualhonesty.

The Daily Caller reported last week that Lahren is considering parting ways with the Blaze “in September if not sooner.”

The 24-year-old University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduate has 4.3 million followers on her Facebook page and more than 665,000 followers on Twitter.

Wrong premise. It is not “their body.” It is an unborn human fetus with dna from two individuals, i.e, a separate human.

Glenn Beck has been under pressure to fire Tomi Lahren for a year or so and has steadfastly refused to do so. He is committed to intellectual diversity on The Blaze. (Conservative/libertarian range, but diversity nonetheless.)

Will he fire Tomi? I don’t think so, although his shot at her intellectual honesty is a sign that it may be under consideration. Beck values intellectual honesty in his hosts, even if they don’t agree with him.

Will she leave? Probably not, unless she sees a better offer.

As far as I know, he does. He’s very open about “do your own research.”

History (AKA His Story) is a very interesting series (currently on hiatus.) If nothing else, Beck is a very good storyteller.

Judge James Wilson of Pennsylvania is one of just 6 men to sign both the Declaration of Independence and teh Constitution. He wa also one of the original justices of teh Supreme Court.

The Framers seemed to think that both the state and Federal governments had authority over abortion.

Well you cherry picked what I said. So you support forcing a woman to have a child from a rape. Now how do you feel about the life of the mother and incest exceptions?

You see the abortion argument is one that is based on emotion and Illogical thought., which is why it is almost impossible to have any rational discussion of it.

Now tell me this, you have a daughter, say between 14 and 16, she gets pregnant and comes to you. What will you do?????
