Been digesting this information all day and it just hit me:

Let's cut to the chase: Obama and Hillary were in his office last summer and it went down something like this:

"Mr. President, I assume you're going to help me with the election."

"Why yes Hillary, how can I help?"

"Well, to be blunt, I need everything you have on Trump."

"We have lots of information, going way back, I'll check with Clapper and others and we'll get what you need."

"Thank you Mr. President. And, by the way, is there any way we can, say, get Trump and his cronies communications? That might really help before the election. No telling what bombshell might come up."

"We'll make sure it happens."

"Thank you Mr. President. We had a fruitful meeting today."
