California is a part of the USA. The better plan is to reform california and change the way they think.
california should remain whole and a part of the USA. the better plan is for the rest of the USA to change the culture of california to look more like the USA.

Perhaps we could allow the leftist western areas to secede and retain the eastern Conservative portions. The western parts could become an equivalent of Singapore, and when the “Big One” hits, who will miss it?

I feel the same way about Texas, so we’re even. But not unlike Texas most of California, land area-wise, is Conservative, so breaking up both states would be a plus for the Senate. The problem for Texas though is how do you craft a “liberal state” that includes only Houston, Dallas, Austin, Whacko, The Rio Grande Counties and San Antonio? It would look like a worm.
Simply ending direct government subsidies to illegals would accomplish 80% of the goal.
An East West split would net a Red State.
Like the Gerrymander.

If you at the same time combine CT, RI, MA, NH and VT into one mid size state thus eliminating 8 liberal Senators...
THEN I will support splitting California down the middle with a northern California and Southern California which gains 2.
Net effect -6 liberal Senators.
You break it into three parts. One part is San Francisco area to Los Angeles. The rest is broken into two parts, north and south. You would have two red states and one blue state
If the day come California leaves the union...
The very next day the red 75% would leave California and rejoin the union.

Exactly. If they split we end with 2 more Rat senators. Northern CA is not as bad but still infested with rats. No it’s better for us if they leave. CA has gangrene, better to cut it off and save the body.
Split off San Francisco, Alameda, and L A counties.
Let them go. Leave the rest of California to the Americans.
Be interesting to Hellifornia secede. Want to see how they’re going to fund their own private army, pave and maintain their own roads and infrastructure, pay for their own mega-universities without federal money, educate their college and high school without the availability of Pell grants and high school supplements, how they’re going to related to American military bases such as MCRD, San Diego, Camp Pendleton, the Navy and Air Force bases. How they’re going to pay for Colorado River water. How Maxine Waters is going to run for the presidency, how Pelosi won’t have a place to go in the mornings, how she won’t have any constituency or California colleagues in Congress. It’s all going to be fun to watch, especially of American military forces are sent in to arrest the president of a foreign power.
