According to Bolton, Rice had to have a legitimate national security reason to make unmasking, etc. requests of the NSA.
And if she gave what sounded like a legitimate reason when her real reason was political, she's in trouble.

There’s a lot of context and “ifs” in his statement that do not match the headline.

No Obama administration figures are going to be prosecuted, or tried, or fitted for an orange jump suit. Just forget about that.

Susan Rice was just on PMSNBC doubling down on the Russian hack as being the reason for the unmasking. She also said that the IC had to agree with her request, so she is trying to rope John Brennan and James Clapper into this for protection.

I hate reading that. ...because it is true.
Unfortunately, lying to the media or in an interview or anything that doesn’t specifically involve a duly empaneled set of sitting Congresspersons or a judicial officer or investigator with the government is not a crime.
They are going to have to conclusively prove she lied in such a manner I’m afraid.
Just like Hillary, she won’t remember or she will plead the 5th Ammendment.

Something else to remember is that every substantive accusation against Bill Clinton turned out to be true.
And Clinton DID get impeached ... only the second time in U.S. history that has ever happened to a U.S. president.

Very difficult to claim memory failure after just giving interviews on national television. Or at the UN for that matter. She pleads the fifth and is wiped clean in a plane crash.

I can’t specifically say here what I’m down for on this but it is not pretty - not one bit. But it is conclusive and final.
Susan Rice may get a pass on lying to the Control-LEFT media, but her statements can be used as exculpatory evidence, if I am not mistaken.
