Maybe so. One big difference here is that the targets of the investigations are not the ones in positions of authority in the executive branch of the U.S. government.

Something else to remember is that every substantive accusation against Bill Clinton turned out to be true.

The reset of standards for establishing guilt have been changed, under FBI Director James Comey.

We learned this already with his green lighting Hillary and her corrupt ringlings.

When the facts could convict any little guy, he retrieved the off ramp to avoid conviction.

MOTIVES are the escape hatch. They will be the same for Susan Rice, lost in her quest to protect the security of the nation (but really from Donald Trump).

So you are suggesting that we should all just STOP (sob!) reading about, writing about, and investigating the surveillance of a presidential candidate and his team by a sitting administration because we might have our expectations dashed if Susan Rice isn't convicted.

Agreed. As someone said today on the radio because this is all classified material, which they have to produce the evidence in court, which is why the government often does not prosecute these cases to protect the classified information and how it was obtained.
