Pablo says to Jose, “It’s a crime that the Yankees stole half of our country”.

Jose takes another snort and says to his friend, “The worst thing is that they stole the part with all of the good roads and water”.

Worth repeating. Somewhat analogous to the situation in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where the "aggrieved" found to their dismay that the wealth of the country did not create itself.

Another historical myth of the left that needs to be corrected: Africa never did so well as under European colonization.

I know this is heretical but I believe that any critical historical analysis will confirm it as true.

I'd rather fix California, than give it back. Yes, that’s going to take some doing.

Easy. Build the wall and then toss every liberal in the southwest portion of the state over it. Fixed. Have we steeled ourselves for the civil war it will take to accomplish that? Well, we're getting there; it's approaching necessity.

When we’re done, we’ll let them have half of it back.

But we’re going to keep Baja and the other coastal areas to build resorts on.

Mexico needs to improve their lands they already have now. The US started with barren land and made it great. If Mexico takes any land it will be just like South Africa in the toilet and Nacro Politics Oligarchy. Just thiefs and haters what other want rather than what they could make.

“Anyway, one day the Proff got to philosophizing and stated “all borders are temporary”.”

Here is another way to think of it. Throughout human history, you only own territory which you are able to defend. Land may have belonged to your people for 2000 years, but if another group takes it, it belongs to them until you can take it back. The animal kingdom works the same way.

Trump should encourage them to start a war over it and then use that as a pretext to annex the Baja Peninsula.

“Mexico’s governing bodies are corrupt and incompetent. Mafia like crime organizations. They have failed to drive prosperity.”

Like the Obama Administration? And we are still dealing with their Deep State leftovers.

181 years ago, great...grandpa helped capture Santa Anna. We can most certainly replay that today if they wish.

Agree, take Poland; how many times has it complety disappeared from the map? Two, three times, maybe more. Btw, I would only modify your comment by inserting to say “willing and able”. Example; although we are quite able to defend our borders and control immigration it remains to be seen if we are willing....

Hey ENRIQUE, The US will return “Mexican” territory to you at the same time we give up our independence and return the rest of our territory to the Queen of England!

My GG Grandfather fought at the Seige of Vera Cruz. Captured, escaped and had a lot of notches on his belt.

When is Enrique going to give back to the His Majesty, King Felipe, Rey de España, what is rightfully his? As in, all of Mexico?

Funny you should say that. I was going to write “willing and able” since these days it is not all certain that the leftists wouldn’t just roll over and let the Mexicans take what they want. I decided not to include it for the sake of simplicity.

Sounds like something majority NY Slimes share holder Carlos Slim may have written.
Their latest tactic is to offer to quit claiming US clay if we give citizenship to their shock troops in America, and presumably let in more.
Gotta keep those dollars flowing south!
Chinga te Mexico. Tu y tu madre.

Very true. Mexico enjoys two vast coastlines, a wealth of natural resources (e.g. oil, minerals, fishing, etc.), tremendous agriculture and aquaculture resources, beautiful tourist destinations, a large labor force, a culture that can be very hospitable and industrious, two friendly prosperous northern neighbors and a smaller southern border.

Mexico should be as least as prosperous as Canada except for their lousy aristocratic government who does everything they can to stay in power at the expense of their people.
