Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, the two-time Libertarian Party presidential candidate, says hes lost faith in the electoral process and vowed never to run again. He will now focus all his efforts on legalizing marijuana.
Govs. Johnson and Weld became the first ticket of any party to feature two governors since the 1948 presidential election and ended up receiving nearly 4.5 million votes nationally, far more than his 2012 popular vote total. While still not a viable electoral force, the 2016 presidential election marked the Libertarian Partys most successful presidential run to date and the most successful third-party candidacy since Ross Perot in 1996.

I know a guy in the state “legal: grow business. He pays Federal taxes on his unbelievable profits. He goes to the local IRS office every quarter and pays the tax in cash. So far they have accepted it.
Must be a different Johnson, Gary had a construction business before he got into politics.
He was our governor in the late 80’s. The only reason he won is because Toney Anaya, the former RAT governor, sucked so bad.
His wife Dee was the brains of the outfit, but when she developed health issues he threw her over for some Santa Fe hardbody.
How bout Blind Man Chitlin?
Johnson is the Wacky Weed Warrior of Company B.
Isn’t that what he feeds his dog Allepo? Or is that Alpo? Whatever mon, pass the dutchie on the right hand side.
Give ‘im a geography book.
Sad. He could have been in the Senate and been another Ron Paul/Bernie Sanders but work is too much for these types. At least he’ll get some attention.
So he can’t even honor his wedding vows?To think this all-around loser would by some misfortune become President is both frightening and disgusting.
I like Gary. But he’s not presidential material.
Is the FTARH?
“Garys gone full retard.”
He always has seemed retarded to me, and from my visits to New Mexico, I say the same for a lot of the folks there as well. New Mexico, in many respects is just like Old Mexico, but it sure is a pretty place nonetheless.
“...while walking his dog-Aleppo!”
Don’t you mean Alpo?
Yep. Jeff Spicoli and Gary Johnson were in the same geography class.
Too much dope is bad for the brain
And....?
...as much as I like NM being next door to TX and all, their politics stink, they have an income tax, and worst of all, what kind of voters does it take to elect a mental midget suffering from ignoranus.
LOL...all I could think of is him becoming a gardener and hoping he could visit my front yard. The spring rains have produced a bumper crop of weeds.
Oh..."Weed" = dope. Cancel the contract.
