Sifting through the wreckage of the 2016 election, Democratic pollsters, strategists and sympathetic academics have reached some unnerving conclusions.
What the autopsy reveals is that Democratic losses among working class voters were not limited to whites; that crucial constituencies within the party see its leaders as alien; and that unity over economic populism may not be able to turn back the conservative tide.
Equally disturbing, winning back former party loyalists who switched to Trump will be tough: these white voters’ views on immigration and race are in direct conflict with fundamental Democratic tenets.
Some of these post-mortem conclusions are based on polling and focus groups conducted by the Democratic super PAC Priorities USA; others are drawn from a collection of 13 essays published by The American Prospect.

As soon as a liberal comes on a show, I count “5-4-3-2-1” before s/he says the word “Russia”, paired with the word “collusion”.
It’s a trigger word that causes my remote to execute an “off” command, a “channel change” command, or a “mute” command to my TV.
It’s an automatic reflex.
Nothing they can do or say will ever excuse Hillary for losing. She was out-classed, out-maneuvered, and our-voted.
No one is going to nullify the election, and retro it back to Hillary.
She, and her lefty vigilantes, are toast.
A man/woman has got to know their limitations, and Hillary has reached her level of incompetency.

The reason that the Republican party is “running interference” against ‘draining the swamp’ is simple: they’re in on the corruption.
That greater power is money. What's that old saying about he who has the gold makes the rules? Politicians are bought and paid for, as are the media creeps who make it to the big time, as are many judges, etc. Trump is a self-made man who isn't and can't be bought. He ran on a promise to drain the swamp. So he's a huge threat to the entire corrupt, stinking mess that is our complex of government, media (to include the entertainment industry), and academia.
Also, because he ran as a Republican, the Left sees him as an enormous threat to everything they stand for. Had Trump run as a Democrat and won, they would have loved him. Politicians really are that phony.

Bingo. In other words, for decades Democrats have fractured Americans into subcategories of interest groups. As a result, the craziest of these interest groups hijacked the Democrat Party and took it hard left.
Normal Americans do not want what Democrats have defined themselves as becoming. Democrats are now comprised of a cobbled together group of kooks.
These people aren’t as stupid as they are made to appear. Democrat strategists haven’t seen the writing on the wall for over a decade, and while some have been in denial about whether they can reverse some of the phenomenon, for the most part they have known that they are losing Rural white voters, Rust belt suburbanites, and even the old block of the Union ranks. Their hope was to keep enough of these people to put them over the top along with their growing rag-tag hodge-podge of victims groups, but more importantly, to supplement that with imported voters, including undocumented latin americans, middle eastern refugees, and even foreign workers. Whichever way they can infuse the voting blocks with new blood, particularly those sympathetic to their side, the better.
What they didn’t count on was a mass exodus from the previous groups to the other side, mostly as a harsh rejection of the previous 8 years being so blatantly soft on illegals and on terrorism as well as a perceived aversion to fair trade and preserving jobs from global leaching.
Their strategy is still sound though. The NYT is being disingenuous about their doom and gloom. The exodus blocks are shrinking. The victim groups and imports are growing.
If you don't out-right win the internets today, you should be in the top 3.
I have long considered the Democrats a bunch of race-baiting America-hating divisive dishonorable intellectually dishonest power-hungry miscreants. The only way they could be worse than what I thought is for them to opening wave the Nazi flag.

Then there are floating islands of garbage in between the coasts such as Chicago, Minneapolis etc.
Their solution will be to promise the impossible and lie, lie, lie.
