Students at one of Scotland's top universities have been told off for pooing in showers and bins.

Bosses at Strathclyde University were forced to send a memo to the 400 students and 250 staff asking them to stop with their 'inappropriate' toilet habits.

The memo, posted on Thursday, was sent by the operations management team of the University's Technology and Innovation Centre.

It read: 'Given the incidence of people pooing in bins, showers and the likes, can I please remind all TIC occupants that the toilets have been provided for that specific purpose.

'All bodily fluids, solids and toilet paper must be disposed of down the toilet.

'While I appreciate that the TIC population is multi-cultural and different countries have different practices, here in the UK the accepted practice is to use only the WC.'

They added: 'The building houses some of the most intelligent brains int he world - yet they don't appear to know how to use the toilet.

A restaurant I previously frequented had problems with their third-world kitchen staff wiping their butts with toilet paper and then tossing the shyt-smeared paper into the GARBAGE can rather than flushing it away.
What kind of savages are being imported that are this utterly clueless about hygiene? They don't see others exiting public toilet stalls with a big wad of paper to toss in the garbage. Disgusting. Who knows the range of other cleanliness shortcomings they may possess.

Well, we need to honor their culture, heritage and traditions and become more like them, according to the government that keeps importing them en masse.

Reminds me of the ROK Marines on a U.S. LST in the early 80's. The ROK Marines would squat on the toilets and not flush and when they did flush, after the toilet was full to over flowing, there was poo everywhere. The ROK Marine's Sergeant Major got on the ships intercom and talked to his Marines for about 45 minutes to an hour. After that there was no more trouble.

Oh, and while the Sergeant Major spoke the ROK Marines all stood at attention.

Yep. They don’t want to clog the septic systems. At least that’s what I was told. I believe decades ago that was the case in rural America. But toilette paper is made to disenigrate much faster today.
