Last week we learned that the Danes are working hard to reduce baby production in Africa. No doubt, because sub-Saharan African women are powering a baby boom that will make Africa into the Ground Zero of the Population Problem later in the century. Steve Sailer writes that women in Niger want about nine babies but usually have to make do with seven.
Meanwhile Japanese youngsters are reported to be remarkably uninterested in sex, and, of course, U.S. feminists insist that “Rule No. 1 for female academics is: don’t have a baby.”
My own personal experience is that the closer an American identifies with academia the less likely he or she is to have children.
The “educated” have been anti-baby and pushing population control for at least a century. What is going on here?
In part, of course, the push is to discourage other people from having children: eugenics and the “unfit.” In part, it is that upper-class women prefer to outsource child-minding.
So Birth Control was invented. And the educated classes decided to make abortion respectable. But it looks like the only people interested in birth control are the We, the educated, the evolved. Ordinary people just go on having babies like they always did, only now a lot more of the babies are surviving. How unfit of them.
I’d like to believe that this anti-baby culture is all part of the left’s foolish dream to create heaven on earth. You may have noticed that people don’t have babies in Heaven; they just live happily ever after.
But I think there is something else at work: monasticism. The scions of the rich and powerful very often don’t have the chops for the powerful life; they go, or are sent, into a monastery.

Now now. That isn’t true. The left’s never met a serial killer or child murderer they didn’t deem scummy enough to fry in the chair. For some reason, that same sense of compassion doesn’t apply to innocent unborns.
The agenda and reason for this all leads back to it’s ultimate source.
Let us not forget that the ruler of this world, who is pretty much in charge of the “world system” is Satan himself.
Satan hates human life passionately. We are made in the image of God and are deeply loved by Him. Therefore, Satan wants every single death he can achieve by any means possible.
This is first accomplished by separating us from God... Convincing mankind through the world system that there is no God. Then, once a majority of people are deceived in this (at least the ones in power), it is a very simple matter to take this belief (no God) to the most logical conclusion about what their duty is as rulers of the earth.
They call it agenda 21. It is the systematic reduction of the earth’s population in order to conserve resources...
Because if you don’t believe in a God Who provides, it is quite logical to view our environment as a very FINITE resource which must be carefully preserved by and for those who are most worthy of perpetuating the human race.
Otherwise, they see our fate as an overpopulated world which will self destruct from the over-consumption and lead to an untimely death for everyone.

Puhleeze - their is no “Devil,” if by that term you mean a renegade or rebellious angel that opposes G-d. The very idea that one of G-d’s creations could oppose him (let alone be successful for even a microsecond) is absurd beyond belief.
The fact is that el-Satan (the Satan) is an angel in the service of G-d, he/it does what G-d wants. His/Its main task is to tempt the faith of humans (see the Book of Job).
That all said, and to get back to topic, the Left opposes babies (or, at least, white/Western babies) because they hate our culture. For some reason that I cannot fathom, they are guilt-ridden about our success as a civilization. They feel as if we owe something to the rest of the world that can only be repaid if we commit cultural suicide...forgetting completely that without Western medicine, food and other aid, the population of the poorer parts of the world would be considerably less, and misery would be elevated to far higher levels than it is. They are sick and, IMHO, evil in many ways (and I define “evil” as being a lack of goodness, or a lack of G-d in their lives).
Economics has to be part of the equation. In the times past, people depended on the family to care for them in their old age. After socialism took root, people began to believe daddy government would care for them. Why have so many children, especially since the high taxes needed to support the welfare state made it so expensive to have children? You also cannot overlook the fact that women have more options than they used to have.
Yes, the left generally seems to hate families, but there are more forces at work than just that.
