I hope Kaepernick never plays another NFL game.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20171611/national-anthem-protests-no-1-reason-viewers-tuned-nfl-games
“Twenty-six percent of those who watched fewer games last season said that national anthem protests, some of which were led by Colin Kaepernick, were the reason.”
Even ESPN admits the truth. Besides being a 2-14 loser, Kaepernick is bad for the bottom line. I hope he finds something positive to do for the world, although that turnaround would require a miracle from God. As for football, I hope he never again sets foot (or knee) on the field. Choices should have consequences.

Freedom of speech is NOT freedom from consequences. The biggest thing preventing him from playing is himself. He dug the hole, so let him dig himself out.

Of course the fact that his play level deteriorated year over year, that his inability to take direction from coaches or other QBs, and his overall cockiness made him a hot mess.......yup no reasons at all

Poor Cappy, even though he has a shoe collection that would make Imelda Marcos jealous his net worth is a paltry 2.5 million. And he must suffer the indignity of rolling in a Jaguar worth a measly 92k that can barely top 180MPH. I am so ashamed to live in a country that embraces such raw naked racism! :)

Winning games with Kapernick would bring lower ratings that losing with a fourth stringer. I’m serious.

I would not hire him. There are many capable players available to hire. And this guy is poison for the gate ( business). Literal poison. and it’s not like he’s some kind of innocent victim. He goes out of his way to insult the fans ( customers) with his (needless) anti- American BS statements and displays. Anyone making $252, ooo ,00o .69 to play a children’s game ( and only so- so, at that ) has nothing to complain about America. He should be kissing the ground every time he’s tackled

Adam Schefter said he believes that NFL owners have tried to keep coaches and front-office personnel from going after Kaepernick.
Yeah, well they're the owners of these teams. They have the right to say who will and won't be employed by them. They don't owe Colin Kaepernick a job.
That said, I think he'll probably get a job this year when some starter gets hurt.

Gee, maybe Kap should have considered this before he flipped the whole country the bird? Obviously, he’s not very smart.

What pisses me off is he already made more in his “career” than I have been able to accumulate in working my butt off for 40 years. I am pretty close to retirement and I will be comfortable, even without SS.
I appreciate what God has given me, especially the chance to work and get the success that can come of that work in this great country of ours.
It would never occur to me to stick a middle finger at it, especially if I got scads of money for failing my first real job.

If kapernick could read and throw like Joe or Steve, then he could wear a tutu on the field and no one could care less. He was a half season fluke.

No kidding. He has a piss poor aptitude to go along with his piss poor attitude.

Kaepernick destroyed his own brand. He wasn’t blackballed.
No team owner wants to associate with a brand that would pollute their own brand.
Economic decisions do not constitute “blackballing”.
To: American Quilter
Good. He doesn't like America, let him play in Cuba or some other sh**hole.
See how that works out. Ungrateful pissant.

Colin Kaepernick is likely being blackballedIsn't that racisss?
Seriously, these NFL owners are businessmen first, Kaepernick is radioactive to most fans.
Revenue would be lost by signing him.
Good, let this be a lesson to the other NFL SJW's.

Every celebrity should take note. Do the job you’re paid to do and don’t get political. No one cares about your opinion, just your God-given talent.
