The culture war has been going on a long time, and it won't end any time soon. But the outcome is not in doubt. Some conservatives were gratified to see President Donald Trump bar transgender people from the military. The backlash suggests it will be much like the Native Americans' victory at Little Bighorn -- memorable but ultimately irrelevant.
White House officials saw this announcement as a brilliant political move. "This forces Democrats in Rust Belt states like Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin to take complete ownership of this issue," an anonymous administration official gloated to Axios.

He is either a woman who identifies as a man or is waiting to get the taxpayers to fund his gender reassignment surgery
Another example of Townhall and Steve Chapman abandoning the idea that Western Civilization with its Bible-based morality is a good idea. Neo-paganism is not limited to those who believe themselves liberal.

It’s not the 0.3%. It the sum total that counts. The country is about evenly split between the “Makers and Takers”, those who “Pull the Wagon and those who Ride in the Wagon”. Choose your metaphor. So, we are at the tipping point. The success or failure of the Trump presidency may very well determine whether the Takers or makers rule going forward.
Steve Chapman has nothing sensible to say. Best it ignore him.
Best to mock him and drive him from the field of ideas in utter defeat and humiliation.
Why this story is worthless and meaningless.
On the lest of what voters consider to be IMPORTANT ISSUES and which will actually drive their vote, LGBT barely gets a mention.
Important to voters in order of importance are,
Economy (jobs)
Terrorism (security)
Healthcare
Education.
Silly issues like this one will not convince someone to vote for Trump nor will it cost him a vote. That aside the dependence of this and other articles on current polls is at best laughable and more than a bit astonishing given the unreliability and suspicion which most see in them today.
How many folks who when asked about gay rights or what they think relates to them are terrified to express an opinion other than what they have been told is the “PC” one. My guess is 90% plus will either refuse to take the poll or else will lie to avoid castigation.
This refusal to allow TG to serve may, MAY be a bit overbroad in that they could be useful in clerical positions but only if there is no possibility of the taxpayer paying for any surgery they may want and only if they (like other soldiers) are made to follow all then exact same rules as outlined in the UCMJ.
No special privileges...NONE!

I read a tweet from Anne Applebaum yesterday. She doesn’t want to hear anymore about needing a businessman to run the country after Trump. Okay. Politicians have failed. Anne thinks a businessman is a failure. The academics have run the banking system into the ground, reducing economic growth. Who’s left, Anne? The military? Really want to go there?

Unless things greatly change in an unexpected way, Trump is at best a speed bump on the road to Hell.
I always liked Steve Chapman-made me a libertarian. Now that he’s older he’s tilting. Keeping blacks and women out was wrong. How much is the transgender process? Do we owe it to these .03 people? How long does it keep them out of commission?
The fact that Trump took a stand against this unending slide of mindless acceptance of any cultural change that flies in the face of reason and natural human nature gives me hope. Even if the next president or Congress decide to reinstate the “transgendered” into the military, it sets a precedent.
The kind who is confused about the purpose of the military.
Trump is the culmination of our culture's and nation's long ignored negative feedback that we now can no longer ignore.
Trump is the reset for our nation's blue screen of progressive death.
Trump is the last hope and the last rope for a drowning nation to grab to pull itself back to sanity before consequences do with US what they will.
Trump is our last warrior and we're out of bubble gum.
