Cluelessness, thy name is Hillary Clinton
NY Post ^ | September 6, 2017 | Maureen Callahan

She still doesn’t get it.

In her forthcoming memoir ‘What Happened” (out Tuesday), Hillary Clinton takes perfunctory responsibility for losing the election before spending nearly 500 pages blaming: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, “rash FBI director” James Comey, Obama, the Russians, sexism, and, finally, the American people for not liking her enough.

Sanders, she writes, had the gall to run against her even though he’s not a Democrat.

“That’s not a smear, that’s what he says,” she writes. “He didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party.”

Clinton bemoans the sexism among “Bernie bros,” and claims a causal link between Sanders’ campaign and Trump’s win. “Some of his supporters . . . took to harassing my supporters online,” she writes. “It got ugly and more than a little sexist.” Such attacks, she claims, “caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.”

Obama, she says, was no help, telling her “to grit my teeth and lay off Bernie as much as I could. I felt like I was in a straitjacket.”

Sanders, like so many leading Dems, has no sympathy.

“My response is that right now it’s appropriate to look forward and not backward,” he told The Hill. Left unmentioned was collusion between Clinton’s team and the DNC to oust Sanders from the primary and depict his campaign as “a mess” to reporters. These revelations, contained in a 2016 Wikileaks dump, led to the immediate resignation of DNC chair and Clinton supporter Debbie Wasserman Schulz.

I can’t imagine anyone paying even a nickel for any of her worthless books.

Like we care or want to hear from a loser about why every one should pity her.

When she takes no responsibility for all the things she did in a lifetime.

Enough already! Her act has gotten old.

People buy politicians' books to show their political loyalty or maybe to give as gifts.

I doubt anybody got through all 1,008 pages of Bill Clinton's autobiography, but over 2 million copies were sold.

Of course, autobiographies are more substantial than Hillary's memoir and they sell better, but Hillary's already written her life story, and nobody would buy another version of it, so she's stuck with this memoir or whatever it is.

I voted for Bubba in 92. Within 2 years I grew up and was a staunch conservative. I feel like I did porn because I was young and naïve.

Bill Clinton won. People like to be associated with someone who made it.

Hillary? Nah. People know her life story and they don’t need to read a book to find out about it.

And she couldn’t win on her first run for national office. So there.

Same here. I voted for who I thought was a moderate Democrat and to my middle of the road thinking at the time, the DLC platform was a good fit for America with all of the common sense ideas it pushed to get the Democrats to move to the center.

Decades later, the Democrats are no longer that kind of party. And I’ve left the GOP because it no longer cares for the things I still believe in.

As a conservative, my views haven’t changed since my youth.

Her narcissism won’t allow her to ever believe that she caused her defeat. Someone, anyone, other than herself must be at fault for her defeat. We are incredibly lucky this psycho bitch is not the President.

The Clinton's just can't seem to control the narrative like they could in the "old days" before the internet and alternative media.

All it takes is a cursory review of the actual facts to revela that Hillary's bubble is nothing more than that—a whimsical universe wherein all of her lies become the truth, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Hillary and the Left can't seem to get the hang of this new Media—one in which bullsh!t quickly gets called out for what it is, and "official narratives" caryy no special relevance over and above the often more coherent—and more honest—narratives of (at least marginally) honest journalists.

CNN, the WaPo, the NYT, MSNBC, and the traditional broadcast alphabet networks are learning this lesson the hard way—and they have been ever since Dan Rather and his ilk were exposed as the utterly partisan charlatans that they have always been.

With each passing day, the power of the "Dinosaur Media" wanes—an inexorable process which will not reverse direction anytime soon. Once the "emperor" has been revealed as a naked, empty shell, there will be no regaining the "glory days" of his faded youth. He'll never suceed in pushing all that toothpaste back into its tidy, insular little tube. The Democrats and Media (but I repeat myself) MSM is a singular joke—and also "bad joke"—in the truest sense of the term.

And the vast majority of the American People are so far ahead of them, that the Media will be playing catch-up for the foreseeable future. The "glory days" of the Dinosaur Media—the Propaganda Media, as Newt Gingrich has dubbed it—will never return. Indeed, they are in their death throes, with their feeble lashing out becoming more and more an object of pity, as opposed to ridicule.

Once a laghingstock, always a laghingstock, absent a sincere and heartfelt mea culpa and a bona fide effort to atone for past sins.

As naive and manipulable as the American People may be, they'll never be that vulnerable to such feeble propaganda again.

And such fatcs do not bode well for the Democrat party—which is well on its way to being relegated to minority status—at both the federal and state levels—for decades to come.

Grab some popcorn, everybody, the flailing will now forthwith proceed unabated.

With leaders like Elizabeth Warren as the "mainstream" of the Democrat patry, and characters like Noam Chomsky opining from the radical Leftist fringe, the entertainment opportunities are virtually limitless.

American hegemony has never been more certain in the world...

In the 1990s....the Democratic Party shifted. Maybe it’s party due to the Clintons (both Bill/Hillary), and maybe to foundation/lobbyist influence. It’s an agenda-driven deal where certain groups or agenda teams are given a big step up, and the regular working-class Democratic guy was given a step down.

It took twenty-five years, but the working-class Democratic guy doesn’t exist anymore and I think half of these guys (particularly in the south) will say they lean more toward GOP politics now.

Hillary is clueless because she doesn’t recognize that group of lost voters, and how she helped to make this all possible. One can look at the Michigan’s vote in November of last year...they shifted and moved on.

That’s 93 cents too much. One could use them to prop up an old table or for making confetti.

Yeah, that’s a real head-scratcher there, Hillary.

Jeb, no doubt, is asking the very same questions about himself.
