I was sad that one of my daughters moved from Seattle to Studio City, CA last year.

Good news: She just gave her notice and is moving to Phoenix. :)

Now the whole family is out of that cesspool.

Why isn’t this tantamount to declaring sovereignty? If I ran the world, the rest of the US would let CA make a go of it as an independent nation, overrun by invaders enabled by elitist know-it-alls who would then on their own have to govern the mess they created.

Sounds like passport control needs to set up points of entry along the border between the US and California.

It may take a while but a few dead relatives of legislators at the hands of illegals may make some change their mind about jumping off the immigration cliff.

The blowing away of sightseeing tourists may make a difference. It brought The Trumpster into and to the forefront of a bitter electoral camapaign.

California, now under a delusional democRat party, seeks to go a different route, an illegal route, and so far, could care less who dies or prospers.

Perhaps the nation needs to claim sanctuary from California and the liberal brigades of “do-gooders” on a mission.

What will happen here is that once you have a couple of murders and rapes that go back to people protected by the state effort...regular people will go and sue the state. We aren’t talking about a measly million or two....but probably in the range of 50-million. After the state loses five to ten of these lawsuits....the question will come up as to where the money will come from. But by this point, there’s probably over a thousand people lined up and wanting their pay-back. If the state wasn’t bankrupted before....they will be bankrupted by this point.

This will be talked about for decades on how the state dug itself so far into debt.

If you can find a silver lining in this, it takes illegal immigrant pressure off the other states.

The Left is absolutely intent on destroying the country.

SUPREMACY OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT

[2] This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

[3] The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Is there some reason this doesn't apply?

Speaking in a legal sense, how many Senators & Representatives could we be rid of because they have not kept their oath to uphold the Constitution?

Too bad. California will turn these “natural conservatives” into liberals. These people come to this country seeking free market capitalism, the rule of law, and traditional morality, only to have the Democrats corrupt them into being statists.

Interesting how they use the feds to force us to do things we didn’t vote for.
And then they ignore federal law and do whatever they want?

It’s too late for those in Cali that care to do anything about the situation the state is in now. The invasion and takeover is complete. The question now is how will the Federal gov deal with Cali? Will the other forty-nine states be forced to bail out Cali? Scary.

Trump should open the Mexican border in California, and seal the state borders surrounding California. This is exactly what they want.

The state of California IGNORES federal laws.

Why can’t local towns and counties in California IGNORE California laws?

Good for them. With 25% of their current population living below the poverty line, should make for more poverty with their universal health care, protections for criminal illegal aliens, and deteriorating infrastructure.

The people’s republic of kalifornia is a shining example of what would have happened nationally if the hildabeast won the election.

What they want is sanctuary from their crimes. Their funding should be pulled after he signs it and sign it he will.
