Individual gun dealers? Is that like the old "kitchen table" dealers? Don't they know that all they have to do is like what CONgress is proposing and just pass some more laws. Not that hard. Except if you start arresting the perps, you KNOW the race card will be tossed on the table. Maybe a universal bgc so that any and all sales or transfers MUST (you know, "MUST") go through a licensed dealer. That should put an end to private gun sales. Right?

So, gun dealers are going to risk losing their license as well as suffer jail time? I don’t believe this crap. And being from Indiana, I’m tired of hearing that we supply the guns to Chicago’s gangs. That’s BS.

They are not guns, they are post partum abortion devices and the left is looking the other way for the same reason they support PPH.

All we had to do to eliminate the scourge of drug addiction and trafficking was outlaw drugs.

As soon as we outlaw guns the same thing will happen.

When will we learn?

Yes, that was sarcasm.

Yes, they can. They need to make sure all Confederate Statutes are taken down.

That will stop the violence.

It's worked well in all those other cities, right?

I’m reasonably sure that criminals prefer stolen firearms.

The gangs have crooked corrupt figures helping them get the guns. We know it’s true.

Maybe they should pass a law, banning all guns. That might work. 😀😆😄👎 Oh wait, didn’t they already do that? 🤗😂

The violence comes from thousands of youts without normal values. For them, it’s OK to shoot someone.

Liberalism is to blame.

Darn these guns getting up and walking into Chicago of their own volition! And then shooting people too. Animated firearms are the bane of any society.

They need to enforce the law and start stop and frisk. They will save hundreds of black lives, mostly kids.

Yet they won’t do it.

Do they want the mayhem. Or just use it as a device to block the 2nd Amendent

Their problem is caused by their war on the police, not law abiding gun shops.

“Individual gun dealers? Is that like the old “kitchen table” dealers?”

And that’s what makes the article worthless as the writer doesn’t get specific about whether these are FFL dealers with all the requirements that entails or somebody “dealing” as a sideline without benefit of the FFL. I’m guessing it’s the latter case and that person should fall under the full weight of the law.

Illinois and Chicago were required to “normalize” their regulation of guns by the McDonald decision in 2010. As long as you are a state resident, you can get a carry license that’s good throughout the state. There are no other state carry licenses accepted for carry in IL, however.

And the left blame Pence for his state’s not-so-strict gun laws.

Yep. Its all Indiana’s fault.

Passing more laws will not help as the number one crime plea’ed out is committing a crime with a firearm.

Chicago just yesterday reached and now is in the process of passing the 500th murder by gunfire this YEAR.

Why is Chicago the murder-by-gun capital? It cannot be just the liberal state government, or NYC, LA and SF would be far ahead.

I can see a movie in the future with a mountain boy running illegal guns to Chicago, supplying items for doing the killings the Rednecks won’t do! the music starts something like this...

“Let me tell the story,
I can tell it all,
About the Mountain boy,
Who ran guns to Chica-go,
His daddy bought them local,
Son he drove the load,
And when his engine roared,
They called the highway,
THUNDER ROAD!”

Of course, the boy will be cast as AN evil southern redneck! NOT A MOUNTAIN HERO!

What I would really like to see is for Chicago to put up checkpoints at every entrance to the city and require a complete inspection of all vehicles and individuals entering the city.

Now THAT would be a show worth televising ... between the law suits and the mayhem that would result, it's something that Chicago DESERVES.

I mean, after all, if it saves one child ...

Why isn’t the locales where the guns come from as violent or more violent than Chicago?
