Weve all had our issues with YouTube, but the company seems to have a problem with PragerU more than most (see Fascism? YouTube Marks 21 PragerU Videos As Restricted and YouTube Just Restricted a Mike Rowe Video. And Hes Speaking Out
). Well, guess what? PragerU is fed up.
On, its on now.
Prager University, a nonprofit that produces short, educational videos from conservative perspectives, is suing YouTube and its parent company, Google, claiming the tech giant is illegally censoring some of its content as part of a wider effort to silence conservative voices.
A lawsuit filed Monday evening in federal court in San Francisco says YouTubes more than 30 million visitors a day make the site so elemental to free speech in the digital age that it should be treated as a public forum.

I like Dennis Prager.
I think he’s rational and unlike some talk show hosts, he does not rant and rave about things. He discusses issues in a calm rational manner. How anyone can consider him.hateful or bigoted or offensive is beyond me.
Then again I’m not liberal.
Although I agree with Prager I don’t think this suit will go anywhere. An anti-trust lawsuit may have been a better tactic.
I wonder why he filed it in San Francisco? That seems like a losing venue right there.
Each one is 4-7 minutes long, simply, logically, well made, clear and informative.
They cover a wide range of subjects by people who are almost always experts in that area.
THIS was one of my favorites, among many:
"I Learned More at McDonalds Than I Did at College"
They take many issues of the day, break them down and explain them in these short videos.
I cannot recommend these highly enough. Even if you think you understand an issue, these can help you see that issue in a fresh light.
That’s probably the federal district where Google-YouTube has its headquarters. Google could create a delay by arguing for a change of venue. Delay works in the favor of those with deeper pockets.
Prager is probably the most cogent talk show host in the nation. LIEberals hate logic and truth. Its like kryptonite to their banal emotionalism.
Here is the Mike Rowe video in question...It’s great!

Right now, YouTube/Google’s under attack from *all* sides for their free speech issues. For example, they’ve been doing the same thing to LGBT discussions, discussions of women’s health issues, even some guy playing chess against a computer.
As much as I despise YouTube Im more in disagreement with this lawsuit. Forcing the Government to compel a company to force its content to not be censored? Right or not this is in no way the role of Government. Wish to make that happen make it happen with a competing product not through the iron fist of Government. Is it futile because they hold a monopoly? Fine then make the case to break up the monopoly.
Some causes have unintended consequences and for this one it most certainly can and will if successful
bkmk
Most people fail to realize how liberals have already set up hate speech rules as de facto censorship.
When they’ve already defined their views as love, that makes ALL other viewpoints already defined as “hate” - so hate speech laws conservatives and moderate think only applies to the KKK is applied to all views not as far left as the liberals.

Big Tech is so big that their private corporate choices impact our ability to speak.
One solution is regulation.
Another is lawsuits to enforce fair standards.
Yet another is breaking them up as monopolies so that Google doesn’t control 90%+ of online ads, 70%+ of search results and a large plurality of content.
Purging ex-Muslims to please Muslims.
Unfortunately, Google has been trying to manage YouTube content almost entirely with bots.
A better course would be to abolish software patents. We’d have a dozen YouTubes and Googles overnight. Then let each one decide their own content policy and let the market sort them out.
