Devin P. Kelley, the gunman who killed 26 people in a Texas church, reportedly escaped from a mental health facility in 2012.
According to Channel 2 Houston, Kelley was institutionalized while he was in the U.S. Air Force after being charged with assaulting his wife and baby stepson.
A 2012 police report shows that he escaped from the psychiatric hospital after making death threats against his superiors in the Air Force and trying to smuggle weapons onto the base where he was stationed.
Kelley escaped from Peak Behavioral Health Services, a facility in New Mexico, and was caught by police in El Paso, Texas on June 7, 2012.
A witness told police that Kelley “suffered from mental disorders and had plans to run to from Peak Behavioral Health Services” by purchasing a bus ticket to get out of the state.
Kelley “was a danger to himself and others as he had already been caught sneaking firearms onto Holloman Air Force base,” the witness stated. Kelley “was attempting to carry out death threats” on his superiors in the Air Force.

Threatening superiors as well. In the old days, the AF would have sent you off for two years minimum. I see a lot of screw ups here.
Does his involuntary detention qualify for “adjudicated mentally incompetent” and thus a prohibited person under GCA of 1968?

Texas Church was another GUN CONTROL MASSACRE by the Democrats. Democrat law coerces defenselessness on innocent people.

This guy was a rabid, demonic animal that needed a bullet in his head years ago. No better time would have been when he initially abused his ex wife and her son. Instead we have years of abuse towards people, animals. Making threats towards superiors, breaking out of mental institutions. How this guy flew under the radar is beyond me.
Also, as I hear news that he shot crying babies point blank in the head, it’s my opinion that this guy was just evil in it’s most pure form. Calling him mental is a cop out. This mother f**cker planned this and executed it to precision. For all we know this POS was demon possessed. Yeah, call me a bible thumper, but I’ve cared for mentally ill patients as an RN. There’s a difference.
Yes, I suspect so.....yet even the media hasn’t breathed a word at all...who generally are known to seek out and report something. Might be his parents have ‘connections’ that have prevented this....at least locally. After all media’s been known to camp out on peoples property.
