President Trump marked the one-year anniversary of his election by thanking the “deplorables” who contributed to his “Electoral College landslide victory.”
“Congratulations to all of the ‘DEPLORABLES’ and the millions of people who gave us a MASSIVE (304-227) Electoral College landslide victory!" Trump tweeted, along with a photo of him and his top aides aboard Air Force One flashing thumbs-up signs for the camera.

Included in the photo with Trump are White House communications director Hope Hicks, White House senior adviser Stephen Miller, White House senior adviser and the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, personal aide and special assistant to the president John McEntee, and White House social media director Dan Scavino.
” Trump defeated Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Nov. 8, 2016. Since then, the president has frequently invoked his electoral win over Clinton, who won the popular vote by more than 2.8 million votes.”
Who won California by 2.8 million votes.
You are absolutely correct.
When Cankles called Trump supporters "deplorables" Trump should have said it was true and apologized as Bush, Inc. would have done.
It's so embarrassing having a President who is such a rube.
You are welcome to translate that post into English.
Oh, I think you understood it just fine.
And ain’t it GREAT!!!??! Remember when HRC came out calling us all deplorables! We WEAR IT WITH PRIDE. I am glad POTUS remembered!
Basically, if the price of gasoline rises 10% to $3/gallon, Exxon-Mobile may see people buy 5% fewer gallons of gas but the company will see revenues GROW.
This dynamic, is currently AT PLAY with Republicans. In short, if you adopt a Trumpian populist/pro-America/non-globalist approach to governance (e.g., a price increase), you may lose RINOs, #NeverTrumpers and other losers, but your gains from Deplorables and taken-for-granted Democrats will enable you to WIN ELECTIONS and, more importantly, move the nation closer to what the Founders intended...
In turn, if you adopt a #NeverTrump/globalist/interventionist approach, sure you'll retain RINOs and other losers but you'll lose the dominant Deplorable class and taken-for-granted Democrats will go back 'home,' and you'll see Republicans have a perpetual re-enactment of this scene from Life of Brian:
It seemed to be communicating that you view the Bushes as models of excellent Presidents and want Trump to be like them.
It makes no sense to identify as a negative term.
Check the tag.
You’re the one who thinks Trump should be polite like the Bushies were.
I know who the woman is but who are the men?
.
Then don't. We're fine without you.
It makes no sense to identify as a negative term....What? I think you identify as a progressive, correct?
I had skimmed over all the “anniversary” threads but on Breitbart they had the top meltdowns and now I wish they would play the whole thing from 7pm to around 3am because it was a GLORIOUS, JOYFUL, and exhilaratingly peaceful night.
Maybe I should re-read the 10k posts of the live thread for the night.
enjoy
Why? The term was invented to disparage our beliefs and our very existence. By appropriating it as a badge of honor, we fly a huge middle finger in the face of dems and rinos.
I recommend embracing a positive term instead.
So you advocate allowing the left to define us in a way that gives them power, because they use negative terms.
I disagree, FRiend.
