Hillary Clinton on Tuesday gave an explanation for why she didn't fire a top aide on her 2008 campaign who was accused of sexual harassment by a fellow staffer.
Just minutes before President Trumps first State of the Union address, Clinton posted a lengthy explanation on her Facebook page, in which she said that she would not make the same choice if faced with the situation again.
The most important work of my life has been to support and empower women, Clinton wrote. Im proud that its the work Im most associated with, and it remains what Im most dedicated to. So I very much understand the question Im being asked as to why I let an employee on my 2008 campaign keep his job despite his inappropriate workplace behavior.
The short answer is this: If I had it to do again, I wouldnt, she added.
The New York Times reported last week that Clinton had protected the staffer, her then-senior faith adviser, after learning that he was accused of inappropriately touching and sending suggestive emails to another staffer.
Clinton originally responded to the Timess report in a tweet, saying that she called the woman involved to tell her that she was proud of her for coming forward at the time and that all women deserve to be heard.

The most important work of my life has been to support and empower women,
‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman..’
It Takes a Village Idiot -- her next sequel. She's laughed about obliterating plaintiffs who were molested, and excoriated rape accusers. It's what she does. What a transparent lie. Thanks E. Pluribus Unum.
“If I had it to do again, I wouldnt”
Well, jeenyis, you don’t have it to do again.
And now it’s your record.
Theyre always sorry when they finally get caught.
She always wants a Mulligan.
She gives new meaning to the term “deplorable”.
Translation is, "Damn it I got caught again."
So Hill, let's talk about Bill...
She's a sociapath
Isn't that the exact same answer she gave about maintaining a private email server?
“I mean, after all the stuff Bill did, what’s the big deal?”
Dwarf tossed into an unmarked ambulance.
....The short answer is this: If I had it to do again, I wouldnt...
Sounds like an excuse for her whole career.
Pathetic.
In 2008 Shrillary was 61 yrs old and a candidate for POTUS. She is now telling us that although she had (purportedly) spent decades as some great advocate for women, she did not understand anything about protecting women in the workplace??
That speaks as badly for her as anything else.
the “most important work” of her life, and yet she failed it it miserably at a hugely important time when it really mattered.
Thanks again, I will never tire from seeing that stagger into the SUV. Beautiful, effin beautiful!
Her actual experience with the topic had been to squash the accuser as she had always done for her husband.
The knees buckle twice and on the third time she’s out, watch her right foot, it is dragged off the curb and she loses the shoe when they throw her into the van.
My favorite gif by far.
