Apologies if someone within another thread made note of this but I scoured and did not see anyone mention what I observed after SOTU. As President Trump is shaking hands (Fox feed) he absolutely SLIGHTS Mitch McConell.
In fact Mitch tries to interject himself enthusiastically but President Trump glances then looks right over the top of him. Mitch then gets his attention and Oresident Trump refuses to shake his hand. In fact he doesn’t look happy at all during the exchange. I’ve rewatched the Fox SOTU multiple times and I do not think I have this wrong. I’m literally laughing myself to tears that this occurred!! Someone else please FF through the speech and validate that this occurred!!
I’ll have to check this out on a rebroadcast that’s on FoxNews now. Thanks for the heads up; hopefully I won’t drift off to sleep before the end.

I planning on watching the end again. This will definitely make my day. It will be strike two for McConnell. First, not being invited to White House with Schumer, now given cold shoulder. A vote of no confidence will be hard to ignore. Maybe next will lead to McConnell striking out and either resigning or being replaced.
I can’t tell if it’s his or a man in the background. All that I know is he ignored him at 2nd pass and gives him a not so pleasant look and says something to him with a not so pleasant face.
Maybe he told him, “Look man, I gave your wife a great job.”

Let’s see if he can push through Immigration. As with the President, I don’t really care how you look or what you say, I only care about what you deliver.
But why ? I thought their feud was behind them. I havent seen it,. I am just going by what you said.

What I noticed was Pelousy trying her best to get out of his way when he went to that side of the room. She looked like she needed a teleporter.
Didn’t see what you did - but did notice McConnell started out looking a little meek and small at the beginning of the speech and seemed to cheer up a little as it went...Ryan looked pleased as pie throughout which is heartening.
Good post. Thanks for putting it up. Maybe 2018 won’t be McConnell’s best ever. Trump plays a long game but he never takes his eye off the goal. McConnell hasn’t been helping him reach it. That tab will come due sooner or later.
