But I think 80% of the American people will see him as a great president. I think this will happen soon.

I think the maximum percentage will end up being 60%.

We've let way too many in this country that hate the principles this country was founded upon. A large number of minorities have been brainwashed into hating Trump and "whiteness".

It is revolting.

The world is comprised of sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. Those who find they are sheep by temperament should stay out of the way of the sheepdogs.

Here we go again.

About the CWII Ping List

The CWII Ping List is short for Civil War II. It is NOT a list of people advocating another Civil War in America. It is a list of people who are interested in the parallels between the Civil War (or War Between the States, if you prefer) and our current situation, or more generally are noting the references to a 'coming Civil War' that are made in the press.

Of course sometimes this is merely a figure of speech, such as "The Tea Parties are fighting a civil war for the heart of the GOP". This would not merit a CWII ping.

On the other hand someone saying something like "The events in California are reminiscent of what happened in Yugoslavia in the period proceeding the Civil War" would merit a ping.

FR rules do not permit advocating for the overthrow of the Republic, and I am not aware of anyone doing so on the list. Still many do see that as the political climate worsens we may be heading in a direction that makes such a conflict all but inevitable, particularly if other avenues for resolving our differences are taken away. Such as widespread vote fraud by leftists making elections meaningless, or a small cadre of judges over-ruling all attempts to end destructive policies over the clear will of the people.

The correct keyword tag for the Civil War II ping list is "CWII". Please Freep Mail me to get on the list

In the US Code there is provision for the President to declare a state of insurrection to exist. This declareration triggers executive powerd far beyond martial law. It is in effect a declaration of war by the federal government on state. Lincoln invoked these powers after Ft Sumpter and were the basis for calling on the states to provide 70,000 militia to suppress the rebellion. All the other war powers such as suspension of habeus corpus, declaration of martial law in Maryland, warrentless search and arrest, all these things and much more flowed from invoking the insurrection act. I can imagine a future BHO or Hillary invoking these powers nationally to put down mass resistance to statutes that essentially abridge the Bill of Rights. Also the President could call on member states of the UN and NATO; of which we are members, to provide ‘volunteer’ formations to aid in suppressing the ‘insurrection’ and ‘protecting human rights’ from ‘hate groups’ such as the NRA.

“A free and just society must protect babies from murderers and children from sexual predators and perverts.”

That all sounds good but we live in a society that allows perverts easy access to children. We let them be scout leaders, adopt children and let freaky cross dressers read stories to little bitty kids in school. We tell them they can go into the dressing rooms and public restrooms with them. This country has lost its mind, morals and decency are soooo bougie.

“I truly believe that, in the western world at least, this is the best that human beings have ever had it on this planet.”

That’s indisputable.

“I am way more concerned about someone getting a nuclear bomb into our country than another civil war.”

A valid concern, but perhaps less likely than it might seem. It is really difficult to produce a high-order detonation.

“So the libs will divorce us and then ask for alimony....”

Exactly right. How could they not, look at their voter base: criminals, perverts, welfare cheats, unemployable tatted and pierced up freaks, drug addicts, etc.

That’s a good breakdown of the country in two.

A fourth, war and subjugation of progressives, is the only workable solution.

Until their blood is spilled, the progs will never get the message or learn the lesson that their thoughts must be purged.

"...all three New England States."

What is all "three New England states", and what happened to the other three?

My geography classes always had it as...Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

>>Progressivism has ruined it, and likely beyond repair<<

I agree. Our country will never be the same. I would be ok with “The Republic of Texas”. Becoming our own nation once again.

The gubbamint is too corrupt, too intrusive, too expensive, too encompassing, too controlling....we will never be able to shrink this behemoth back to a manageable level. This WAS our gubbamint, we've lost it.

Just my lil ol pinion.

Well, yeah... but whenever you divide along state lines, SOMEONE’S gonna be around a bunch of conservatives but left in red territory.

And sorry, but it’s REAL hard, no matter how you divide, to put a contiguous strip from Northern New Hampshire and rural Maine to another conservative region.

Hope you like Canada! (I do!)

"I hate to tell you this, but from all my observations and
“research”, the liberals have just as many guns and
as much ammo."

And they also have no compunction about using them to impose
a political agenda or to murder those who oppose them.
Just consider the recent assassinations of police officers
or the attack on the Republican Congressman in VA.
Conservatives are generally guided by a
Christian/biblical non violent world view.
Violence is a last resort or for self preservation.

Even the school shootings and other violent crimes are
mostly committed by people with a non Christian, leftist,
atheistic view of the world and politics -- in my opinion.

I choose divorce and hope that it is an amicable one.

That would be the least bloody option - for now. Eventually, though, we'd be facing the equivalent of Castro's Cuba (multiplied), right across a border on the same land mass. We'd better make damned sure that nothing of military or strategic value is left behind in the ceded territory.

Heck, we fought a war over four years that pitted brother against brother, in some cases, and still survived to become stronger.

The irony is that we were actually less divided in ideology back in 1860.
