She followed O'Reilly who had #1 ratings, people dozed off and left the channel on and she stumbled in to high ratings at FOX.
We’ve had super close elections for the past few decades. Everyone remembers Bush/Gore and the hanging chads, but other elections were close as well. Heck, Romney didn’t try to beat Obama and he came pretty close anyway in 2012.
But in 2016 everyone knew that Hillary was a sure thing. That’s because the whole thing was rigged from start to finish and it wasn’t even a contest. She had won before any votes were cast. It was a done deal. Bet the house on that outcome because it’s impossible for her to lose.
And then it happened.
When you go back to early 2010, and her two-hour show on Fox in the afternoons...you could tell that she didn’t have the charisma or attitude to really run a two-hour show. If she had been detailed out to do special reports and produce a one-hour show per week....she might have been able to deliver that.
I think the three or four NBC executives who signed off on this, saw some great journalist sitting there and just pushing themselves to do a 69-million contract. There is virtually no escape from this now.
Pre-despised by the left, newly despised by the moderate to right.
What could go wrong?
I wish someone would gamble on me for 1/10th what they paid her.
Money that can't be used to give a pay raise to Joe and Mika, Rachel, Joy Reid, etc.

Even better than sticking it to NBC Megyn used the opportunity to showcase the phony witch Jane Fonda.
Fonda was pushing the BIG LIE that 'YOU can look YOUNG TOO if you exercise and eat right". Squirmy Fonda caught with her pants down - the truth - - the witch and the rest of hollywood have their plastic sergeons on speed dial...
All these people deserve each other... the liars at NBC, the climber from FOX, and the liar loser hollywood two bit phonies.
She bet her career on Trump losing and her role in helping on TV.
NBC covered her ass and now is out $69 million - Kelly comes out rich.
The powers that be, when they reach that pinnacle, think they KNOW everything when in fact they are clueless.

They also did not take into account that her former Fox fans would never watch her. They apparently felt that her attacks on Trump were enough to win her a new legion of fans. I think she is now seen as the type of traitor that no one trusts after the betrayal.
Kelly does not have a warm personality no matter how much she tries. She has an edge that is off-putting. She was never going to be able to form a relationship with the kind of people who watch those daytime shows.
Yet the "experts" ignored what was obvious to all and signed her, incredible.
