That’s a good article published on July, the 9th. But Chinese and U.S. negotiators are now meeting towards agreements on trade.
Better than losing his ass.
Trump outsmarted them.
He can lose face or lose his economy. Or both.
His choice.
The Chinese know their trade with the United States is NOT fair and if they want to be a first rate power they cna’t be ripping people off... Would the Chinces put up with a store owner who was cheating? No. They would not. And countries are the same... China's acting like a lowlife power... and they must stop.
It's that easy. AND NO, it's NOT ever humiliating to be fair... and decent in business practices.
Trump has pride for our nation.
Obama only had pride for himself.
In that photo, it’s easy to imagine Obama being so proud just to be walking with a world leader. It didn’t matter to him he had just bowed to the the man, figuratively showing subservience on behalf of our nation.
It’s one thing to bow with respect, but another to bow very low, subjugating one’s self and the entity he represented to the person he bowed to.
Obama always thought he was on the cutting edge of international relations. If being led by the hand like a child could do that, I suppose he was.
The chinese tariffs on American and other goods are protective.
President Trump is telling Xi, you are a citizen of the world and you must compete like everybody else.
The alternative will be tariffs on Chinese goods world wide. Trump, the leader, opened the door for everybody to do it.
Having failed to bluff Trump, the Chinese strategy will now be to hunker down and wait for Trump to leave office. Then its back to bribery as usual.
