CNN's Toobin: 'If you sexually assault someone in high school, your life should be ruined'

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin on Tuesday tore into Donald Trump Jr. for his recent remarks about how men are affected when they are accused of sexual assault, with Toobin saying that someone who commits assault in high school should have their life “ruined.”

“If you sexually assault someone in high school, your life should be ruined," Toobin said on CNN's “New Day” while discussing the allegations against Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh.

Toobin also mocked Trump Jr., jokingly saying that the president's eldest son cries himself to sleep every night “over the fate of white men in America.”

Trump Jr. recently told DailyMailTV that the national conversation around sexual misconduct and the #MeToo movement makes him fear more for his sons than his daughters.

“When the other side weaponizes it against men and says 40 years later we can bring it up, you did something in high school that no one remembers, it can disqualify you from every doing anything again, it really diminishes the real claims,” Trump Jr. said.

Toobin said the concern should be more for the alleged victims like Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her in 1982 when they were both high school students.

“How about the lives of the women who were sexually assaulted in high school?” Toobin asked. “How about 15-year-old Ms. Blasey — she wasn’t Ms. Blasey Ford in those days — how about her life? All this whining about the poor plight of white men is ridiculous.”

The Washington Post on Monday published a compilation of Republican men speaking about how they feel they are in danger of being falsely accused in the #MeToo era.

The president — who himself has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than a dozen women — defended Kavanaugh on Monday.

“The trauma for a man that’s never had any accusation — he’s never had a bad statement about him,” Trump told reporters. “It’s unfair to him at this point. What his wife is going through, what his beautiful children are going through is not describable.”

Kavanaugh has been in the center of a national conversation around the #MeToo movement after three women publicly accused him of sexual misconduct.

Gee, I wonder why then Ted Kennedy's life wasn't ruined?

When you have a D next to your name, these things don't apply.

How about if you sexually assault someone while you are governor of Arkansas and again while you are President of the US?

I blame Democrat for all of this. Their Sexual Revolution, that started in the 60’s, made some men feel that simply taking a woman (no matter what her age) out to dinner, made the assumption of sex a given. It wasn’t easy fighting off the men who subscribed to this mantra! I guess I shouldn’t have been dating Democrat men, but I was Left leaning as I had recently finished college and had been indoctrinated (unbeknownst to me) into their beliefs.

Well jeffee you just ass-aulted my sensibilities so what should we do with you? Scum bag. We already know that the alleged deal at yale doesn’t qualify. At least in the clintoon play book. “I did NOT have sez with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky!” Hmmm. Now, who’s life was pretty much ruined? But it’s okay since it was big “D” doin’ it.

The Bill Clinton should be in solitary confinement.

Logic doesn’t hold.

Stumbling drunk make out parties also can be characterized as sexual assaults. They have to be careful with the language.

I wonder if Toobin knows that most people in high school are minors.

Ford’s claim against Kavanaugh was when he was a minor. Not many people note this fact. The laws are different for minors, and rightly so, because they are not fully developed socially.

Seems to me that if she is/was as “traumatized” as she acted at the hearing, how in the world did she ever bring herself to have sex again? She has two sons, right? (I’ll bet they’re neurotic as hell).

GOP to Toobin.
“Attempt to ruin someones life with false accusations should mean prison...even to members of the media”
Assuming the GOP knew what they were doing instead of hiding.

And if you drink beer, we can’t know that you didn’t black out and don’t remember that you sexually assaulted someone, so, if you are a white male, you are guilty and should be castrated and fed to pigs.

But the children of the Left are not coming to grips with reality. They are fighting it.

Feminist War On Love & Reason

The Left is unable to understand the differences between actual assaults, and youthful horseplay. Throw in the imaginative tendency to exaggerate and you have wilder & wilder accusations, with less & less credibility.

Men who ae moronic enough , or trying to impress women, to vote Dem are enabling vicious man hater feminists to assume all men are guilty until proven innocent.

The women bosses will demean and endanger and destroy the males in the work place-— I know this is true.

Now false accusations will be treated as true survivor tales of women, except the men are innocent.

So what were Democrat Senators doing in the 1980s when Kavanaugh was a high school student? In 1985, Senators Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd had their infamous “waitress sandwich.”

“It is after midnight and Kennedy and Dodd are just finishing up a long dinner in a private room on the first floor of the restaurant’s annex. They are drunk. Their dates, two very young blondes, leave the table to go to the bathroom. (The dates are drunk too. “They’d always get their girls very, very drunk,” says a former Brasserie waitress.) Betty Loh, who served the foursome, also leaves the room. Raymond Campet, the co-owner of La Brasserie, tells Gaviglio the senators want to see her.

As Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. With Gaviglio on Dodd’s lap, Kennedy jumps on top and begins rubbing his genital area against hers, supporting his weight on the arms of the chair. As he is doing this, Loh enters the room. She and Gaviglio both scream, drawing one or two dishwashers. Startled, Kennedy leaps up. He laughs. Bruised, shaken and angry over what she considered a sexual assault, Gaviglio runs from the room. Kennedy, Dodd and their dates leave shortly thereafter, following a friendly argument between the senators over the check.”

And if a woman falsely accuses someone of sexual assault, her life should be ruined. Right, Toobin?

It was Toobin’s article that prompted Ford to forge a false memory of Kavanaugh, which leads to the possibility that Toobin himself is part of the defamation conspiracy. He sure has been particularly visible during this debacle, much more so than usual.
