The Vatican’s third most powerful official has been convicted in Australia on all charges he sexually abused two choir boys there in the late '90s, according to two sources with knowledge of the case.

A unanimous jury returned its verdict for Cardinal George Pell on Tuesday (Australian time) after more than three days of deliberations, the sources said, in a trial conducted under a gag order by the judge that prevented any details of the trial being made public.....

Total set-up, because Pell was actually making changes in the Vatican’s corrupt financial policies. Francis obviously got this going and kicked him out immediately, replaced him with FoF (Friends of Francis) and now it’s corupt business as usual.

Pell has been found non-guilty all the way up, and these two “recovered memories” include somebody saying that Pell, at a parish picnic, touched his backside when he was lifting him up to splash him into the pool. Pretty normal, in my opinion, if a man or even a woman is going to lift up a child In a pool. Was he supposed to drag him by his hair? In the other case, I think it’s already been proved that Pell and the supposed victim weren’t even in the same place at the time, but the courts were eager to convict the “conservative” Pell and they gave the accuser a break for his “recovered memory.” Think Kavanaugh.

Pell is going to appeal, I believe, and he should. The big problem is that Francis wants to get rid of Pell, because Pell knows where the (financial) bodies are buried.

"When did the free-for-all start?"

While Pope Leo XIII warned against what he saw coming in 1899, the most direct link to the slide becoming an avalanche is in 1965 when Fr. Hesburgh of Notre Dame made a deal with the Rockefeller Foundation to hold a series of secret conferences with Planned Parenthood.

Once you separate the sex from procreation, there's no clear cut line between homosexual sex and normal heterosexual sex.

Yes, the lying and cover-ups have been going on for 20 years - at least.

Based on what I know about Cardinal Pell, this is a frame-up job to destroy a good and holy bishop who was in charge of rooting out corruption in the Vatican. You’ll note that while Pell is being charged and punished, bishops like McCarrick, Danneels, Maradiaga, Mahoney, Weakland, Hubbard, etc. are all still walking free being treated like royalty by the elite media. You do the math.

God is cleaning both the leadership in the Church and Government. There is an inertia here that no man can stop no matter how titanic the efforts are to stop it. There are no exceptions because God will drive the issue.

I thought the same thing, but didn't put it into my initial comment. It is an unavoidable test for the Bishops from God. God is forcing them to take a stand - be true Shepards and take a stand which will cause you to be alienated and persecuted by most of society, government and media of our corrupt age, or be ready to be humiliated anyway by them.

The government (deep state) is getting theirs to. All positions of leadership are given and taken away from Him.

The purge is coming.

The Church will lose many bad priests.

Short-term, it will cause a lot of havoc.

Long-term, the Church will emerge much healthier.

The homos are destroying the Church, and the only remedy will be an immediate and concerted purge to remove them. That will mean going against the pervasive, corrupt political and social spirit of present age - which ironically, is something the Church should always do.

That means the Pope would have to purge himself.

“ I’m thinking with easy access to birth control. “

Yep, you got it right.

“the Church is not a moral voice of authority when it’s so desperately needed.”

Well, it still is, if one consults dogma and doctrine, but certainly not by example of many of the clergy.

“The homos are destroying the Church,

The popes, Cardinals, bishops are destroying the church by covering up and allowing and facilitating homosexuality and abuse.

...Would you consider a church that loves Jesus so much that it self-purges homosexuality?

1 Corinthians 6:9

9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts,
10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God
11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Note the past tense, were

Those who seek first the Kingdom of God will turn from the things of this earth, shedding them as dirty rags

As a Catholic, when appraising other faiths I adhere to the saying that “you shall know them by their fruits.” Unfortunately, when appraising my own these days, it’s seems we have nothing but fruits.

Pell has always been a courageous defender of chastity, the right to life, and devotion to Christ--unlike those like McCarrick and the rest who have always been weasels when it came to bucking the licentious culture.

I highly doubt the case against Pell is factual.
