.
Most of the bumpstock afficionados jacked up the body of their Ford Granadas for big rubber cuz they don’t own a PU.
.
How did they manage to reclassify bump stocks to make them addressable? BATF declared they were not weapons parts and therefore not subject to being addressed.
His commitments to the United States of America are all that matters. His campaign slogan was MAGA, not MIGA -- wasn't it?
I do. Compromise and collaboration over the years has gotten us nowhere
Or a terrorist or anarchist
Opposing gun control makes one neither of those
i feel optimistic the courts will void the ban..how about taking without. compensation. atf already said they were legal
An empty gesture in a land of empty suits
Nonsense.
2nd Amendment activists lost NOTHING.
Bump stocks were without value.
Like most, I prefer to shoot and hit, not spray and pray.
These type of folks usually blend in. The Vegas shooter had no red flags.
The part of this that is gnawing at me is the March turn-in. The Gov’t approved these for sale, people bought them, now the Gov’t says turn them in (with no compensation, I think), or you are now a criminal. I could live with it if it was just a ban of future sales with a grandfather clause for previously purchased.
“Only an idiot would even own a bump stock.”
I’m glad somebody said that.

So I attach my “Bump Stock” to my Pitch Fork.
I did just use my pitch fork to unload some (literal, dog) crap at the dump.
I do wish I could have been faster, or more ‘automatic’.
It would be bad enough if the ATF can decide on their own that adding a piece of plastic to a gun makes it a machine gun, they are actually saying the piece of plastic is a machine gun, even if attached to a pitch fork,
****************************************************
Well, according to your well-thought-out logic, you could dangle the piece of plastic from your earlobe and YOU would be a machine gun. Thus, you would be banned and would have to turn yourself in to BATF.
That would, of course, be unconstitutional but NOT UNCONSTITUTIONAL UNDER THE 2ND AMENDMENT.
I don’t own any bump stocks.
I just enjoy tweaking Lefties who lurk here.
“I dont like them either, but you cant say someone who built a business manufacturing and selling Bump Stocks (a legal product) is an idiot.”
Sure we can.
And it would be true too.
I really don’t care about bump stocks, like most people never heard of them until a year ago; looking at them, they are a imprecise gimmick and end run on existing laws; very few people own them (and appears that ranges and even the NRA banned them in their range already); and there are far more important issues: national reciprocity, allowing silencers without lengthy and costly permits, ending gun free zones, etc.
So when the next Democrat President decides to destroy the businesses that you do approve of, you will be cool with it.
Except there isn't any wall.
Trump gave up something and got nothing in return. This was a very bad deal.
