Verizon Fios announced Friday that it is dropping conservative outlet BlazeTV from its channel package.
Fios TV, which offers more than 425 channels, announced its decision to drop the outlet, founded by Mark Levin and Glenn Beck, in a message to subscribers on Friday.
“As you know we must periodically renew our agreements with TV content providers to be able to bring you the programming available on Fios TV. At Verizon, we put our customers first in all our content decisions. We aim to provide content our customers want at a fair price,” Fios said in a note to its subscribers, which was obtained by The Hill.
“Given that the cost of programming is the single biggest factor in higher TV bills, we carefully review proposals from network providers to be sure that their rates are in line with their viewership," the letter adds. "This practice allows us to bring you a competitive rate for Fios TV packages. As a result, we have decided to remove The Blaze (Ch. 112 SD / 612 HD) from our lineup effective December 28, 2018.”
It looks like Levin jumped into the Beck dumpster fire just in time!
I don’t think anyone really will miss them.
I was a CRTV subscriber who decided not to re-up after the merger. Levin did himself an injustice IMHO.
I would never watch anything that Glenn Beck is associated with. It's a shame Levin has been linked with Beck, though my understanding is that Levin had no control over that.

Verizon is a huge Democrat supporting company who donates big to the DNC and who backed Hillary all out in the 2016 election...Best thing they did was lay me off after 15 yrs..
This was not a deal between Levin and Beck. It was solely between CRTV and BlazeTV. BIG difference. Facts matter.
Even so I immediately cancelled by membership to CRTV because of the merger and many other reasons.
How did Levin get associated with Beck that was not in his control?
Verizon sent out another email yesterday that said our local DC CBS affiliate could be gone Dec.31, because they can’t reach an agreement with the franchise owner. There are only a couple of shows on CBS I enjoy, but this goes on top of losing all the January college bowl games because of the same problem with Disney/ESPN.

I like Levin. His show is rather more educational than othersand he seems the most rational of them. But then he dumps Prager and embraces Beck. Prager is to the social basis of society what Levin is to the Constitution. Beck is just crazy and not reliable.
Facts? Beck and Levinson were the founders, largest shareholders, and engineered this lousy deal. Beck is highly unpopular even among conservatives and Levin appeals to a very small niche. The fact is, not enough people are willing to pay for their network. Free market.
