This school is under tremendous pressure to expel all of these students with social media and drive-by media avalanche of false reporting. This guy was no victim - the video evidence strongly indicates he started harassing the students and instigated the entire event. This school administration is probably getting hundreds of thousands of e-mails and is obviously under immense media and social media pressure to throw these kids under the bus when they were the ones sitting there minding their own business. Another outrageous media lie to promote a narrative with no investigation to see what actually occurred.

Until people stand up to the lies, it will continue.

What is lacking is courage and fortitude on the part of those in power, like the principal, to say enough to those who calumize others unjustly.

It is not a “False Story”, it’s a Propagandist Communist level LIES.

The school needs to
dump the emails without reading them , put on the answering machine and the mob will move on to next week’s outrage before they know it. So far, this year, it’s been: ‘white man’ killing Jazmine Barnes, David Bell and the juvenile delinquent mob, and now the old Indian man being disrespected. Trust me, there will be a new ‘outrage’ within two weeks.

All the same, the School has posted this on their webpage:

We condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School students towards Nathan Phillips specifically, and Native Americans in general, Jan. 18, after the March for Life, in Washington, D.C. We extend our deepest apologies to Mr. Phillips. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person.
The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion.
We know this incident also has tainted the entire witness of the March for Life and express our most sincere apologies to all those who attended the March and all those who support the pro-life movement.

Those students need to sue the Indian. Not much chance with a DC jury, but the suit would focus the attention elsewhere on what really happened.

It's well past time for a RICO Act prosecution against CNN and the rest of the partisan media shiils.

Even though the truth is now out there, it will make no difference. It is now part of the myriad lies that are told and retold until they become fact. “Trump grabbed women by the P******””, “Sarah Palin said “I can see Russia from my house””, “Jim Acosta never touched that intern, they doctored the video”. Truth does not matter.
I just hope and pray these young boys are not expelled, and that the “outrage of the day” moves quickly away from them. I feel especially bad for the one boy who is being accused of “smirking”; in looking at the clips, I think he is very uncomfortable but not sure how he should react without being rude. If the boys thought that Phillips was joining in with them on their school cheers, and it suddenly took an aggressive, weird twist, most kids might have done more than just make a face.
I’ve seen what one-sided contrived grievances can do to a young person. I know of a girl, just 22 years old, who went to jail for 18 months for being at the scene of a supposed “gay bashing” - she was convicted because she refused to take a plea like others did and wanted to face a jury. Well, one of the jurors admitted to swaying those who wanted to vote not-guilty. He did it by convincing them she was a “privileged, white Catholic kid from the burbs” and they needed to make her an example. Very sad.

Why are people also not defending the kids’ right to peacefully assemble?

It is in the US Constitution.

PDJT should call the guy out to tell the truth and MSM. Just call them liars.

This is blowing up in spectacular fashion. Even their own school threw them under the bus, and not 24 hours later they are completely vindicated.

That one kid whose face is being published everywhere is going to be a very wealthy young man.

With luck, the libel damage will be severe enough to prompt investor lawsuits against the publicly-held papers.

If true, I retract my objections to these school kids. The first video I saw, was obviously shot from a different perspective, in order to create a different image of events. I hate lies, and fake news manipulation! When I was a kid, eons ago, we were taught about yellow journalism and muckraking, things “often used in the past”. Ha! It’s muchbworse today, just a bit more sophisticated. “Journalists” of today, carry around so much hubris, it’s a wonder they can stand up straight. Ran across a mini online course in the glory of journalism, that could cause you to ROFL, were it not for the fact that journalists actually BELIEVE the hype.

Same with me. I was restless last night thinking about it, and it just didn’t add up. I knew the kids were at the March for life, although the media did not mention it, but had heard nothing about a native American rally. On another thread i did hear that GMA said it was the boys who were hasseled.
