(CNN)Those little shampoo bottles offered in hotel bathrooms, used once or twice and then usually tossed in the trash, could soon be a thing of the past in California.
State lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban hotels from providing guests with small plastic bottles for soap, shampoo and conditioner. The proposed law, which would go into effect in 2023, would instead encourage hotels to provide the products in bulk dispensers to reduce plastic waste.
Assembly Member Ash Kalra of San Jose co-authored the bill, known as AB 1162, which would apply to all lodging establishments. Kalra said that small plastic bottles under 12 ounces represent a sizable amount of waste and that his bill would reduce the problem.

What about those one time use needles that the homeless use?
These people don’t have more important things to worry about?
Such trivial pursuits.
What about those one time use needles that the homeless use?

Geez....can CA get ANY more absurd....while their state is burning to the ground?
There’s a monetary kickback for the dhimmis in there somewhere. If there wasn’t, they couldn’t be bothered.
Who wants to use shampoo or soap from someone else?
In Japan often times you see a small envelope for soaps and toothpaste. It’s a good thing.

Just wait until some brilliant California legislator finds out about all the water being wasted on flush toilets in those lodging establishments, when the state has all those perfectly fine sidewalks folks can use when they need to relieve themselves!
so he can cut costs and increase his profit margin?
Yes, the plan is to have a robot roaming the halls, dispensing shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper...as needed.
From huge industrial size containers.
Also, the robot will have built-in floor sweeper and be solar powered.
Each robot replacing four fulltime employees.
I knew a guy years ago that used Preparation H on the bags under his eyes. The “miracle” stuff of infomercials is probably the same stuff. Also knew a guy in college that brushed his teeth with Brylcreem by mistake.
Califoriabannicator legislators saving the world:
1. Last year banning plastic straws.
2. This year banning the little plastic bottles in hotel baths.
3. ??
Women recently got into putting H under their eyes, too. It got so widespread the manufacturer came out and recommended against it, ‘cause, you know, getting some in your eye is bad, m’kay?
But epidemic homelessness in the best economy in 50 years? Not a problem.

A work team that I knew, went out of town for a few days.
One had an ongoing hemorrhoid problem that flared up.
Somehow, someone convinced him that Bengay was the product of choice. He ended up in the local emergency room.
All males and YES, alcohol was involved.
He told me, washing, shower, bath nothing could put the fire out.
