All the Democratic candidates not named Joe are facing a dilemma:
How do they foster the impression that they've got just as good a shot at winning the nomination and beating Donald Trump?
After months of coverage about what a weak candidate Biden would be, he's totally upended the race, at least based on the polls that are crack cocaine for political reporters.

Problem for the Dems is, the need every female and racial-minority vote they can get. That’s what their traditional base of power is built on.
However, choosing Biden comes off looking like Dem politics is reserved only for “elderly male honkies” again ... same old, same old

IMHO it is way to early to put any weight into polls, but Biden jumping way up has them worried so the teardown operation is going to start early.
You have to wonder if the rest of the Clown Car full of declared Democrat hopefuls has the rank & file Democrats so worried and that is why “Safe” Biden is leading?

Wow. Their power was so tight there will be chaos when they croak. Nader already showed he can’t handle the quickness needed to chair a committee. He was completely confused and needed help from the rules people
Kamala Harris is what I would call a boutique politician. That is someone the party has selected and groom to fit a certain district but not viable outside that district.
Most but not all of these boutique politicians know that they are where they are because the party controls the message and the district. For the most part these politicians have already reached their level of incompetence which does not matter to the real power behind the scene since they most likely had recommended the politician’s Chief of Staff who really runs the office and tells them how to vote.
The current clown car full of Democrats running for President is not really a problem for the POWERS behind the scene because they know they will continue to attack President Thump and keep the base riled up. But like a lot of has beens and never been these clowns will never make to the big show.
Which brings us to Joe Biden. His job is to suck the air out of their campaign so they never really reach critical mass.
As we enter into the primary season the baggage that Biden carries will force him out, and the real Democrat Candidate will step in as the savior.
Who will that be? Don’t know. What I do know is that all of these clowns are just being used to attack Trump and should not be taken too serious.
Kamala needs to admit the Democrat underlings support Biden too, not just the media.
Kamala is smartly aiming for the moderate lane (though don’t be fooled of, of course, as these things are relative), but she is too flimsy in her lying and too all-around annoying in her Senate committee sound bites.
