Pete Buttigieg received a standing ovation from the crowd at the end of his Fox News town hall in Claremont, New Hampshire Sunday night.
The South Bend, Indiana Mayor and 2020 presidential candidate drew raucous applause throughout his town hall with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace, particularly when he dismissed President Donald Trumps tweets: I dont care, Buttigieg remarked when asked how he felt about the missives. ... Buttigieg spent the town hall deftly handling Wallaces pointed questions on a host of issues from fiscal policy to late term abortions. The South Bend, Indiana mayor also addressed an elephant in the room: a split amongst 2020 Democrats over whether they should appear on Fox News, after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said she would refuse. Buttigieg said he believes much of the Fox News audience tunes in in good faith, but blasted the networks opinion hosts during his appearance, singling out Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham.

Lotta gays are deft.
The audience was stacked with lib supporters. Nothing great about what he said. Sounded like a guy running for SGA class President.
Who picked the audience? Article does not say.
Oooh the tough gay bloke called out Hannity and Ingraham!
Let’s elect him tomorrow!
And this as good a post as any to point out that the UShas been at the mercy of the gullible but self important rubes in Iowa and New Hampshire for far too long. They have made some horrible decisions that led to electoral and governing disasters.
You tell me.
Correction, he’s the mayor of Bend Over, Indiana.
I want to see the ratings on all these Dem town halls Fox seems so excited to present.
Havent and wont watch them Watching would not enlighten me or make me feel good.
I want to destroy the first and 2nd amendment, raise your taxes and capitulate to the globalist government that seeks to enslave us all.
[standing ovation]
That’s Dems for ya.
Alfred E Neuman is a buttpumper?
The anchors chair was piled high with one too
... where 98% of the audience was conservative
..and the moderator was a conservative
...and the questions were softballs designed to make Trump look good?
Hell would freeze over first.
Chris Wallace offered up Fox's loyal viewers to be played for the benefit of left wing extremists...
I don’t feel compelled to vote for somebody because they’re a rump ranger. I certainly won’t vote for a socialist who wants to suck the life blood from anyone who is gainfully employed. Wallace and Buttman should get a room.
I’m just waiting for the people in the media to compare mayor Pete to JFK.
In that, they will talk about how JFK faced anti Catholic bigotry back in those days, and Pete is facing anti homosexual bigotry.
They will talk about how JFK courageously face Protestant ministers during his campaign, and seek to set up a meeting with Pete and religious leaders today.
Think about it. The main Open opposition to homosexuality today comes from religious leaders and people of faith.
Or they will try to set up.a sister Souljah moment for Pete to be courageous during such moment.
Would a 37 year old mayor of a small Midwestern City be considered a serious presidential candidate, if not for being homosexual?
I watched it. Buttigieg came across as intelligent and articulate, but his answers were composed mostly of platitudes and bromides. No depth, no details on just how he was going to accomplish this or that, and Wallace, of course, never seriously challenged him.
“I want to restrict your First Amendment rights, take away your Second Amendment rights, allow (well-armed) foreign gangsters to move to your neighborhood, raise your taxes, abortion forever and by the way, I am gay.” Audience: wild applause.
Pathetic.
I keep saying that this guy is being treated well for a reason. Still think they are testing him out for the VP slot.
Fox NEws elected us Obama, giving him nice softball questions, making him look good... and now they do it again.
Other then politics what else has this person done for work? Professional politicians and community activists know very little of the real world.
