About those tyrants folks lie about, acting as if there’s two different political parties .. .
Whatever the case, those who attack the freedom of innocent, law abiding Americans are tyrants.
As I implied in my post, I don’t know if it will be a victory or an albatross. It’ll let the wind out of their sails somewhat. And anger a lot of Republican voters.
I pray that your fellow Kentuckians are giving Mitch an earful, over this red flag/AW ban talk nonsense.
And an overreaching, corrupt central government.
1. Protect the member states from enemies (our borders and war).
2. Protect the member countries from each other. Louisville can’t attack Cincinnati.
3. Get involved when someone violates the laws of one state and then flees to another.

Congress is all about word games. If Mitch flat out said it’s DOA, he gives the Rats in the DNC/MSM exactly the sound bite they want to both hammer Republicans as soulless bastards and gin up their base to take over the Senate. Instead he gives them a statement they can’t propagandize on and yet nothing is actually promised.

I do not presume, I do not assume, that everybody even agrees what an “assault weapon” is. Is it fists? Is it a club resembling a baseball bat? Is it a switchblade knife? Is it a box cutter? It is a motor vehicle with some off-road capability and a reinforced frontal brush bars? Is it an aircraft piloted by someone on a suicide mission? Is it a bomb vest? Is it an “improvised explosive device” (IED)? None of these in any way, shape, form, or manner resembles a device that fires a projectile from a barrel with sometimes considerable kinetic force, of size and conformation that it may be held in the grip of a hand.
Settle the definitions first. THEN we will consider means of making rules for the care, feeding, grooming, storage, and properly acceptable use for these various devices, products of the ingenuity of man.
