To use some current slang, it looks like Dutch farmers are woke to the Climate Change insanity.

It's interesting that Drudge so far hasn't said a peep about this.

The main discussion going on is that cows trigger nitrogen oxide, so they want limits on Dutch farmers and number of cattle you can on a particular size farm. This also cover the dairy industry (a big deal in the Netherlands). Some suggest the numbers would amount to a 50-percent cut in beef/diary cattle.

The protest yesterday...involved over 2,000 tractors blocking off traffic around Den Haag for a couple of hours. I imagine it got their attention.

Saw a similar farm tractor protest in France a few years ago. Except for the travel inconvenience was interesting to witness. They shut down a major interstate type road

I guess abortion is not keeping the population down enough. Now the eco nazis are using the ole starvation fallback. Cut the food, trim the population.

Some great videos in the Twitter stream at the site. Thousands of farmers drove their John Deere “assault vehicles” to The Hague.

As one of the signs on a tractor said...”No farmers. No food.” I’m not sure what the “woke world” doesn’t get about that.

Good for the farmers.

I’d suggest dropping a few loads of manure off at the Haag.

Better cow manure that chicken or pig. Those are real nasty to smell. I have chickens and have raised pigs on this place.

We are in a CO2 drought. Not only should we not be cutting back activity that produces it, but we should be rewarding it. I’m really glad I’m not Dutch, though.

“Until we can grow meat in factories which hopefully is coming very soon.”

Hah...No thank you.

I also thought this was interesting. Do you know what Thrombin is? In medicine/surgery, it’s used to control patient bleeding. But also, per wiki...

(Now, this is for “mixed” meats, not factory grown.)

“Food production:

Thrombin, combined with fibrinogen, is sold under the brand name Fibrimex for use as a binding agent for meat. Both proteins in Fibrimex derives from porcine or bovine blood.[26] According to the manufacturer it can be used to produce new kinds of mixed meats (for example combining beef and fish seamlessly). The manufacturer also states that it can be used to combine whole muscle meat, form and portion these thus cutting down on production costs without a loss in quality.[27]

General secretary Jan Bertoft of Swedish Consumers’ Association has stated that “there is danger of misleading the consumers since there is no way to tell this reconstituted meat from real meat”[26]”

Some “meat grower” was on Fox a day or two ago. They actually do take their fake crap and add hemoglobin to it to make it “bloody” to taste like meat. Adding blood ... eeeewww.

Drudge used to be interested in such things. But recently it looks like he’s bought into the BS.

The problem the farmers have is that they probably don’t produce that much of their country’s food. If they all quit farming, would the Dutch starve? I doubt it.
