At the moment, a large portion of the American elite, seem wedded to the idea this is a huge money-making opportunity.

You see, there is a combination of well-established drugs, which are hugely produced, in a number of countries, which appear to work against COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 19,452 more Americans were infected.
Just yesterday.
Many, are not yet able to take the drug.
Not only does it depend on having a physician willing to prescribe the drugs...
Some state governors, have made it illegal.
Because WuFlu shows how much single payer sucks.

There were 1300 deaths caused by the flu on December 13. No screaming headlines required. Normal stuff, nothing to see, carry on. An election year changes everything. The snowflakes show up with their usual grab bag full of whines, bitches and complaints - only turbocharged. What I’ve noticed is they aren’t looking for any solution to the problem other then electing Gropin’ Joe who is hiding in his basement bunker. That should fix everything.

He’s exactly right. The two sides in this country agree on virtually nothing. We have a 50-state entity, but we no longer have a nation. Sometime, relatively soon, it will be necessary to have a discussion on how to beat split this country along ideological lines.
This experience is going to be great for my business in the future, I will be able to have remote workers using efficient systems and be able to reach and serve a larger community. The learning curve is wonderful.
Emotional thinking vs. Logical thinking.
A Republican could come up with a miracle cure and Democrats would find fault with it.

The whole thing is messed up because of the level of politicization it has received, and the outcome of that is whether the thing is a ‘hoax’ or it is ‘apocalypse’ the fact is the response given by the nation will not be the most optimal response.
A united America can do anything it puts its mind to, be it putting human feet on lunar soil, creating miracle medicines that stopped diseases that used to kill millions decades ago, create the strongest economy in the World’s history, split an atom, break a code, brings back astronauts in a troubled spacecraft by jury rigging assorted parts ...you name it, you guys can do it!
Problem is America is divided, and BOTH sides need to get their heads out of their asses and fix things. Once things are back to normal people can go back to acting the fool. Both sides.

I agree and want to emphasize two things above and their implications;
The left has no confidence in the individual, or themselves. They cannot take a chance, live life, work toward something risking failure, and they psychologically NEED big brother to protect them. They however don’t realize the amazing benefits that come with self responsibility.
This virus ‘crisis’ is playing on people’s laziness. Forced vacation, big brother says stay home and watch TV. It is an excuse, a convenient excuse to be lazy, to binge watch the latest Ozark on Netflix, go on an alcoholic bender for two weeks and not go see your parents...
The Democrats strategy are playing on both these things, and hoping the damaged economy will play badly in Trumps re election.
