Southern Hills Country Club in Oklahoma has been awarded the 2022 PGA Championship after the tournament was stripped from former US President Donald Trump's Bedminster course, the PGA of America said.
"We're excited to return to SHCC for the fifth time," the PGA of America said in a statement released on Monday.
"The course offers a tough-but-fair test for the strongest field in golf."
The 2022 championship will take place at the Tulsa course from May 16-22.

They will have to pay off Trump for dumping his course. We’ll see what that settlement looks like.
I saw “Southern Hills” and thought of Tulsa.
So, the question is, when they did this did they violate a contract? If so, Trump will not lose any money.
Isn’t one of the bogus suits against Trump for making profit off his presidency?
The man who gave up on millions each year from being President instead of having the private citizen’s freedom to run his own enterprises?
He gave up so much for the American people and is being sued anyway.
I have no idea, but I assume that they consulted their own attorneys before announcing this move so they must feel they're on solid ground.

PGA of America and the PGA Tour are 2 separate entities. One deals mainly w/ club pros + the PGA Championship + the Ryder Cup. The latter only w/ touring pros.
Another sport has been politicized. Another sport I will not watch. Thank goodness the library is still there and not burning books.
It would be real easy to “write” on those beautiful greens with a liquid pen of a certain fertilizer. Trump 2024 or FRAUD 2020 on every green. Just kidding😕

PGA is now another political arm of sports...making their players/members slaves to liberalism.
It's hard to calculate how many ads I've missed for Land Rover,Mediterranean Cruise Lines,Rolex watches and those diabetes medications that cost $400 a month.
Pathetic decision. Golfers should boycott, but they are obsessed with winning a major so they won’t.
