Pitch forks and torches are really needed now. And I don’t be that surprised if the entire TX government is swept out by this. Way to go guys.
Media hysteria for the sheep. So many sheep.
A third of the ERCOT board members live out of state
—snip—
The ERCOT website biographies prior to being pulled down listed ERCOT Chair Sally Talbert as a former state utility regulator in Michigan. Records indicate she lives in Williamston, Michigan.
ERCOT Vice Chair Peter Cramton was listed as an economics professor at the University of Cologne in Germany and at the University of Maryland, the website biography said.
—snip—
Terry Bulger, who lives int in Wheaton, Ill., according to the ERCOT website.
Raymond Hepper was listed as a retired general counsel and officer for a New England company. Records indicate he now lives in Maine.
Vanessa Anesetti-Parra was listed as serving as vice president of regulatory and compliance for an energy company. A social media page lists her home as Toronto.
Are these the people who thought effing windmills were a good idea?
I’m noticing the media has begun a full-scale smear of Texas because of this weather event.
The media REALLY doesn’t like Texas lately, for some odd reason.
Car dealerships are ‘essential’ and must keep their lights on. sumbiotches!
I looked at this before it was taken down. Seems like may of the board members were lawyers. How does being a lawyer qualify you for overseeing a power grid?
Must be leftist!
And the simple minded morons are slurping up the Soros droppings. It’s amazing at how the media can play so called “conservatives” like a fiddle.
Lawyers know everything !!
Just ask one!
A Kitchenaid mixer won’t draw any current unless it’s on, so unplugging it does nothing to save energy. So that tweet is kind of stupid. I can see a DeWalt battery charger or something like that drawing a small amount of current all the time, but not a mixer! Sheesh.
That doesn’t excuse them from mismanaging the grid. A battery charger isn’t going to be responsible for rolling blackouts.
FYI, Mr. ERCOT, my (wife’s) Kitchenaid mixer was not bought during the fake pandemic. We’ve had it for 30 years. Still runs like new.
They are obviously the ones who decided that proper weatherization procedures didn’t need to be followed for natural gas, coal, and wind.
Who do you think writes up the contracts that structure a board and a utility? :-)
Question for fine Texas patriots...does the Railroad Commission oversee this agency?
Come on Man - 'elites' don't have to live anywhere near common citizens... ya gotta know that, right?
OK, thanks for the correction.
I don’t know if they could be any more clueless. The “phantom” load is a fraction a Watt, as low as a few millionths of a Watt. Meanwhile people trying to stay warm are using a 10,000 Watt auxiliary heater instead of the useless heat exchanger. No comparison, and a complete waste of time unplugging them.
Here ya go!
