Astronomers have long been looking into the vast universe in hopes of discovering alien civilisations. But for a planet to have life, liquid water must be present. The chances of that finding scenario have seemed impossible to calculate because it has been the assumption that planets like Earth get their water by chance if a large, ice asteroid hits the planet.
Now, researchers from the GLOBE Institute at the University of Copenhagen have published an eye-opening study, indicating that water may be present during the very formation of a planet. According to the study's calculations, this is true for both Earth, Venus and Mars.

So it's interesting they think this is more common in the universe than previously speculated. But lots of delusional wishful thinking as to what this might mean.

The Milky Way May Have Many Planets with Oceans and Continents Like Here on Earth.
Or else the Milky Way may not be swarming with such planets. Likewise a coin toss is heads or it is tails.
And with dozens of low probability factors that are needed to make a planet environmentally comparable to Earth, the number of such liveable Earth-like planets in the Milky Way is probably close to the experimentally known value of one.
i’d be tempted to leave to another planet if given the chance, but then I think.. naaa I would do all the work, then liberals would come later and give it all away to aliens.

Too bad those stars are so distant that beyond radio signals there will be no physical contact however many distant civilizations exist. Oh those troublesome but valid laws of physics.
How do we get there? And who would even go?
Despite Science Fiction, the speed of light is an absolute. A human can’t go faster than that.
Plus, there are the DECADES it would take to even get a ship up to light speed (and to slow down). Accelerate too quickly, and the human body would be crushed.
Who will volunteer for a 1,000 year journey to a planet that MIGHT be habitable?

I find it interesting that "scientists" believe that water comes from icy asteroids. In the known Universe, hydrogen is by far the most common element at 74% by mass of all matter, helium being second at 24%. That leaves 2% for all other matter of atoms bigger than helium. Of that 2%, oxygen, carbon and nitrogen are the most abundant. The common molecular combinations of those 3 with hydrogen are water, methane and ammonia. It stands to reason then that water is probably the most abundant molecular compound in the Universe, followed by methane.
Water is everywhere.
No problem.

And then again, maybe not.
I believe that for life to exist on another planet,conditions have to be EXACTLY the same as Earth’s. The right size and type of single non binary or multiple solar system. The same size and composition of earth at the same distance from their star with a moon the same size and orbit of ours. The inclination of our polar axis. A large planet i.e. Jupiter to regulate the orbits of all planets in the solar system. You add all this up even in a galaxy with an estimated 100 billion suns,the odds get pretty slim for life if the conditions aren’t exactly as ours.
