Wishful thinking. The GOP approved Senate parliamentarian says the Dems can do an unlimited number of reconciliation bills. They are in complete control of the swamp and opposed by the useless Washington GOP Generals. The filibuster and pack the court nonsense is little more than GOTV red meat for both sides.

That is NOT the filibuster.

As I stated.

Democrats have had rebels and turncoats since there was a Democratic Party. Just a few days ago, some Dem congress person in one of the states switched and became Republican.
In a deep deep red state like West Virginia, no other Dem apart from Manchin can win the US Senate seat right now. Manchin will be tying a rope around his neck if he kow tows to the crazy Dem far left.

Manchin just voted for the boondoggle of 2.9 trillion in 'Covid relief', so, doing it again won't matter to him, and his party is more important than what the people of W. Virginia want. He'll vote with democrats and won't suffer any consequences, since, he's going to get a nice pension even if he's 'retired' by the people.

Voting for some random Dem bill is one thing (he is a Dem senator after all), voting to remove the filibuster and bringing in gun control and other crazy far left laws is another. The guy had a hard enough time winning the last time he run.

Joe Manchin Reiterates Opposition to Democrat's Filibuster Cancelation and Partisan Reconciliation Schemes
Breitbart ^ | 04/08/2021 | Wendell Husebo
Posted on 08/04/2021, 15:01:48 by ChicagoConservative27

Moderate Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) wrote Wednesday he would oppose any attempt of his party to “eliminate or weaken the filibuster” or abuse the scheme of reconciliation.

“The filibuster is a critical tool to protecting that input and our democratic form of government. That is why I have said it before and will say it again to remove any shred of doubt: There is no circumstance in which I will vote to eliminate or weaken the filibuster,” Manchin bluntly stated to the Washington Post.

Doesn't matter what he says. He'll vote with the rest of the democrats to eliminate the filibuster. His track record is one of mostly rhetoric, but when it counts, he's just another democrat who'll do whatever it takes to advance the democrats' agenda.

You'll see.

In other words, you think you know what Manchin thinks and what Manchin will do more than Manchin himself.
Don't make me laugh.

You wish.
Not going to happen, but keep dreaming on.

Give me examples of when Manchin kept declaring he will not vote for a major bill then turned round and voted for it, especially a game changing bill like this one.

Manchin voted for the ‘stimulus’ package, which all republicans voted against. Obviously, not a bipartisan politician.

Manchin also voted to impeach Trump, while many republicans expected him to at least be impartial and do a no-vote.

Manchin almost always votes with the party line.

Can’t be trusted at all.

Manchin did NOT say he would vote against the stimulus then turned round and voted for it.
Read my question again.
Still waiting.

Still waiting.

You don't need to wait.

Is Manchin a democrat?

Has he ever voted with republicans when it counted?

Manchin has YOU and many others, thinking that he's a moderate, all with the purpose of getting re-elected in a state which is, in reality, politically purple.

Happy to see your unconditional surrender.
Nothing in that post of yours is relevant.
You cannot answer my question because you are wrong and have no answer.

Happy to see your unconditional surrender.

Yet, Manchin WILL VOTE with the rest of the democrats to undo the filibuster.

Just watch. Manchin can't be trusted, and he's just like Nancy and Schumer and the rest of the radical democrats.

Sad that you're too blind to notice.

Except Manchin will NOT vote to suspend the filibuster, as he himself has repeatedly said including today. Chuckle.

The point is that, Manchin is still a democrat, and no democrat can be trusted.

When the filibuster issue is brought up again, and when he’s pressured by Pelosi and Schumer and Biden, Manchin will fold.

The point is Manchin is Democrat from about the redest state there is.
The point is I challenged you to give me even one example of Manchin declaring he wouldn't vote for a major bill than turned round and voted for it.
The point is you've been wiggling in the swamp since tgannand have been able to come up with NOTHING.
Chuckle.
