The reason the Democrats want to get rid of the Filibuster is because they are certain they will be in power permanently, specifically, because they’ve been able to get away unchallenged, with stealing elections for years...and that theft now includes Presidential elections.

Democrats are not going to let any crisis go to waste. And they're going to take advantage of their majorities in the senate and house and the presidency, to pass all kinds of legislation and executive orders, WHILE THEY CAN. While they can includes having Sinema and Manchin follow the marching orders from their superiors and their party. They're not going to take a chance at losing their opportunities to get their agenda passed and implemented. It's how they got Obamacare and this is Obama-Biden/democrat-congress ON STEROIDS. We're all screwed, and Sinema and Manchin will be good soldiers for their party.

I talked to Congressman Paul Gosar (AZ-4) a couple of weeks ago about the Second Amendment and the conversation switched to Sinema after five minutes. He knows her very well and he seems to be sure that Sinema is adamant about retaining the filibuster.

Bingo! There were backroom deals, payoffs, and lots of behind-the-scenes arm-twisting. Not to mention meaningless promises (like "we won't EVER require people to pay for plans that cover abortion"), to give people a fig leaf or two to hide behind, when they finally voted.

Obamacare was based on lies, and any 'gun control' EOs or legislation they implement will have the exact same foundation...

I hope that you are correct. Passage of HR1 will mean the end of our Constitutional Republic. I think that it won’t pass as long as 60 votes are needed in the Senate. Not even 4 trillion dollars in mostly Dem payouts is as dangerous as HR1.
