You hit the nail on the head! It’s not about her being moderate, whatsoever. It’s that she knows her side will pass crazier and crazier bills which will disgust her constituency, and she’ll have to go along with them since the Senate is so divided. She’s hoping the Republicans kill them bills before they grow. In which case she can pay lip service to both sides.

The point is Manchin is Democrat from about the redest state there is.

And, that's the only point that counts, whether he's from a red state or not. He's still a democrat, and democrats don't know the meaning of principles. And he'll vote with democrats when they bring up the vote to eliminate the filibuster.

Actually, plenty of Democrats have switched to the GOP over the years and we've had some great Dem US Senators over the years.
And West Virginia being about the redest state there is, pretty much puts Manchin in a straitjacket.
Again Manchin continues to declare he will never vote to remove the filibuster including saying so just today, even after Dementia Joe gave his wife a position.
So far you have failed to come up with ANY answer to my question and keep dodging and ducking.
Chuckle.
Remove the filibuster? Not gonna happen no matter how much empty hot air and hopeful propaganda you spew out.

Remove the filibuster?

When Nancy and Chuck realize that they can't pass anything because of the filibuster, democrats will pull the trigger on getting rid it.

Manchin will feel the heat, and so will Sinema. Filibuster GONE!

When Nancy and Chuck realize that they can't pass anything because of the filibuster, democrats will pull the trigger on getting rid it.

There is no trigger to pull and the Dems have pretty much passed the bills they wanted to pass anyways, apart from removing the filibuster which will not happen thanks to Manchin and Sinema

Manchin will feel the heat, and so will Sinema.

Those two have been feeling the heat on the filibuster from long before Dementia Joe stole the elections. If anything, Manchin/Sinema are even more determined not to give an inch on removing the filibuster.

Filibuster GONE!

Happily, the filibuster is still here and the Dems attempts to remove it is doomed to failure and is going nowhere fast.

And it continues:

The Backlash Against Socialism: North Las Vegas Mayor Switches Political Parties
Amercan Thinker.com ^ | April 9, 2021 | Jessica Marie Baumgartner

On April 6th, North Las Vegas mayor John Lee announced that he is no longer associated with the Democratic Party and has, instead, switched his affiliation to the Republicans. This move is a direct result of the push for socialism from the Democrats.

The mayor explained on “Fox and Friends,” “In the Democratic Party of Nevada, they had an election recently for leadership, and four of the five people were card-carrying members of the socialistic party. It's not the party that I grew up with 25 years ago in this environment, and it's not the party that I can stand with anymore.”

And there is more:

Manchin lays down the law on Filibuster…
Posted by Kane on April 9, 2021 1:43 am

‘There is no circumstance in which I will vote to eliminate or weaken the filibuster’

“The filibuster is a critical tool to protecting that input and our democratic form of government. That is why I have said it before and will say it again to remove any shred of doubt: There is no circumstance in which I will vote to eliminate or weaken the filibuster. The time has come to end these political games, and to usher a new era of bipartisanship where we find common ground on the major policy debates facing our nation,” Manchin wrote.

“We will not solve our nation's problems in one Congress if we seek only partisan solutions. Instead of fixating on eliminating the filibuster or shortcutting the legislative process through budget reconciliation, it is time we do our jobs,” he said.
