Science?: Some MLB Stadiums Fully Open, Others Still Limited
Breitbart ^ | 04/09/2021 | Warner Todd Huston

With a focus on Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game and the season well underway, the fact that some stadiums are at greater fan capacity while others are still heavily restricted naturally raises questions.

MLB announced that the 2021 season would begin with fans returning to the stands despite some fears over the continuing coronavirus pandemic. Though, what form that return is taking differs from team to team and stadium to stadium. Ahead of the season, the league told each team that they should craft their at-home attendance policies by first taking local government requirements as their guide.

“Science” these days means throwing darts at a board and seeing what people are stupid enough to believe.

For those who have not seen it, here is Rupert Sheldrake’s banned Ted Talk “The Science Delusion”:

Yeah...so much for America’s pastime! I am fortunate to experience MLB back in the day when the players would walk up and shake your hand and tickets were $3! They now want 80 bucks for seats we used to get for $5 with accouterments that were not stupidly priced. I think they’re pricing themselves out of the market as other leagues are filling the void. When they start renaming teams it’s officially over!

The article makes a excellent point debunking all the supposed “super spreader” events like the Super Bowl that never happened.

The you have ball parks that have pages and pages “protocols” you must follow if you attend. Stand on the X, stay in your pod, don’t wander the park, don’t you dare even think of getting close to the field during BP to try to snag a ball or autograph, even though you are 10 feet apart and outside, keep you face diaper on, etc.

Not that much different than prison where you are treated like a reprobate and every move you make is controlled and monitored.

See comment #7. Now with Covid they might s well call it “<park/stadium name Prison” with all the rules on what bathrooms, concessions, exits, where you can eat, etc.

Illogical is the activity of limiting the number of fans:
Dodgers allow 15,000 at the stadium.
Rangers allow 38,000 at the stadium.

Yeah, Covid gives them an excuse as to why attendance is down (Assuming it is)

Bwahahaha the Rangers just got No-No'd against the Padres, there won't be anywhere near 38,000 to go see those losers.
