President Biden’s job approval rating is on the downslope. As of Friday morning he was at 45.8 percent approval and 48.5 percent disapproval — from a high of 54 percent approval, 41 percent disapproval at the end of his first 100 days.
There is a laundry list of reasons for this. Not only is the United States still in the grip of a pandemic, but also the Delta variant of the coronavirus has led to record infections and deaths in Florida, Texas and other states with relatively low vaccination rates (and where officials have taken a stand against mitigation efforts). At the same time that Delta took hold, Biden also faced a huge backlash from the press and his partisan opponents over the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, which began in chaotic fashion with the collapse of the Afghan National Army, the subsequent advance of the Taliban and of course the suicide bombing in Kabul that killed 13 U.S. service members.

As usual, the NYT is dead wrong on all counts. Biden never was “popular”, respected or “well liked”. He’s always been a dolt, on the wrong side of every national security issue and foreign policy stance. He’s always been known to be a liar, pedophile, plagiarist, thief and on the take.
At least in the eyes of any thinking American who has paid even scant attention to the workings of the Senate and the House.

The latest surveys showing him as unpopular are totally bogus! They are completely under-sampling his main areas of support. Not a single dead person was contacted by any of these surveys, and they are only counting Democrat party loyalist election workers once instead of thousands of times each!
If Obama had done the same things, the media would rally to his defense and declare detractors are racists. Old white Joe? No such racial protections.
They surely cooked the poll numbers to get only a minority disapproval.

Joe Biden did not become unpopular, he was always unpopular. He has never been able to draw a crowd, either before or after the election.
They have to adjust the narrative in small ways to bring it into alignment from the old narrative of him being popular enough to beat Trump to where he is, and always was, unpopular.
Good question. He allegedly won a sweeping victory in the election, got more votes than anyone else in history, even the sainted Obama, etc. etc.
Because there is no Trump to hate, people are realizing they bought a pig in a poke.

You would think the K Street flacks and lobbyists would be looking out for Joe Stolen, now that they have managed to squeeze him into office. But Joe just keeps disappointing them, time after time, never living up to the advance billing.

Except for the open border disaster, the influx of infected illegal aliens, the inflation in gasoline prices, food prices, and electricity prices, the snatching of a negotiated agreement from the jaws of victory in Afghanistan and turning that into a bloody mess, the constant racism and White Supremacy accusations, the forcing of transgenderism and Critical Race theory onto the military and society in general, the constant in-your-face media lies, the refusal to entertain honest questions in public, the relentless and illegal persecution of the Capitol demonstrators after a deliberate setup, except for that, why heck, Biden has been a raging success.
