Food shortages were reported to be spiking across the country Tuesday as President Joe Biden struggles to resolve the supply chain crises crippling the nation.
“People are hoarding [food],” CEO and founder of Saffron Road, a producer of frozen and shelf-stable meals, Adnan Durrani told the Seattle Times. “What I think you’ll see over the next six months, all prices will go higher.”

Bunches.
Piss on the barrel to cool it off, kinda bunches.
5.56mm
That was funny. :)
How does he sell any sweat corn. Sounds kinda gross to me
‘...Yes. And after that confiscation...”
I believe that will be quite difficult against an armed population.
After all, those that had the wherewithal to stock food supplies probably didn’t stop there. And you’d be surprised what hungry, desperate people will do.
I’ve seen what happens when ordinary people are without running water for 8 hours in 100+ heat (or 2 days after a hurricane) . Not a pretty sight.
That, I can’t fathom, but I have seen people that hungry on a mission trip I took decades ago. It was eerie there that there were no animals to be seen, no dogs, cats, birds, rodents...
He sells swete corn.
My mistake.
Ok now..why is it EAT? And Sweat is spelled with the word EAT in it?
I’ll go with swete from now on. Now you Einsteins figure that one out.
A pratty child is he
As syttys on a wamans kne;
A dyllydowne, perde,
To gar a man laghe.
Harvest Right. 4 tray . it was $2500.00 Best investment ever. The only thing I’d like to change is get an oil less vacuum pump. When this one breaks, I’ll get one.
Harvest Right. 4 tray.
Nazi soldiers ate a lot of horse meat at Stalingrad after their supply chain crumbled.
Another difference is when the time comes to use their stockpile. Preppers are glad, because they have the supplies to use. Hoarders get so anxious, they often would rather go hungry than dip into their stash.
It’s similar to the difference between “frugal” and “miserly”. The miser isn’t capable of enjoying the benefits of what they saved.
Back in the late '60s, when the silver coin "shortage" arose, the govt blamed "hoarders". Later on, it was discovered that foreign countries were redeeming paper dollars for gold to such an extent, it was feared they would drain Ft. Knox.
The govt offered to repay the same amount owed in silver, which was accepted, and they began melting down silver coinage and withdrawing silver certificates from circulation.
Between that move, and Gresham's law kicking in with a vengeance, it wasn't long before most of the silver coins were gone from circulation.
FYI, those coins are selling for at least 20 times face value today, and will go even higher as inflation continues to escalate.
Oops, I meant to type sweat like you did, not sweat like what comes out of your armpits/skin. Corn should be sweet and not smell like it was grown in your armpit
No..its now spelled swete.
>>What causes hoarding?<<
Walking into a grocery store for the last few months and noticing empty shelves. I noticed the soaring prices and empty shelves months before I heard of anyone hoarding.
Now...I’m gonna hoard. lol
Thanks.

I am usually well prepped for hurricane seasons, but we are going to stay in hurricane mode for the foreseeable future.
And most of my neighbors are very well armed.

Last year when the TP shortage hit, I okay as I maintain a good stock of it and have done so for years. I used my stock until the supplies approached normal again and then replenished the stock.
