NYC has the Sullivan gun Laws. Very strict, with draconian punishment. Cross the border and you are under their law. The rest of NYS is VERY different.
Easy enough to set the borders of the places that need to be separated. Contiguity is not absolutely necessary.
An Ambassador from a foreign country is not under US law, and travels freely within the US.
Lots of other examples. It can be done if there is a will to do it.

It is not the party of Trump either. Trump is an avatar for us, We the People. It was hijacked by the Bushes, Romney, and McCain. We have used Trump to take back the party, and as an enforcer for We the People. Party discipline (or more importantly, the lack thereof) is what has always been the Bush/Romney/McCain stock in trade. Trump is making them actually be Republicans, instead of assistant democRATS.

You have to have commerce with these people if they are in your midst (or just oust them outright) and that wouldn’t be so controllable as you might think, especially if you have them cordoned off legally. The arrogance of these azzhats amazes me. The GOP does not, has not and never will belong to politicians. Nor does it belong to either a former POTUS, failed candidate (McCain), or their unholy progeny. Rather, it belongs to the registered members who ultimately make the decisions as to the party’s direction and platform.
The GOP political establishment forgot that they are ELECTED LEADERS, not hereditary dictators. Trump is helping us out these spoiled bitches in their proper place and they are apoplectic over it.

Understand. That has to be hashed out by each particular state.
I can foresee four separations. The NE states, the Extreme west coast, The great lakes states, and the upper Wisconsin and UP of Michigan..as well as maybe the northern part of Lower Michigan.

We have at least four big problems here in Georgia - all because of large urban cities, and they cheat in elections like there is no tomorrow. Just a symptom of the leftist, Democrat corruption of mass-infestation as is their custom. I just don’t see how to isolate them yet still keep them controllable and civil in an amicable separation of this nation, frankly. Especially when the sole goal of his current dynasty is hell-bent on infesting it with millions of unvetted, third world inhabitants like they’ve been doing for 40 years.

Political secession isn’t happening, nor should it. There are plenty of agent provocateurs out there preaching thinly-veiled treason; they should be called out and rightfully scorned.
Cultural divorce though is already well on its way. Even if we were to do nothing, we’re already seeing a mass exodus of people. Don’t believe it? Check out house prices in Idaho.
In my view, probably the most urgent priority is persuading the few conservatives remaining in deep blue areas to leave. Leftists never accept responsibility for their failures. It’s always “kulaks” or “counter-revolutionaries”. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that conservatives in these areas are future victims.
Not anymore. It's the party of Trump for the foreseeable future.
