GOP election-deniers elevate races for secretary of state

ATLANTA (AP) — Add one more group of contests to the white-hot races for Congress and governor that will dominate this year’s midterm elections: secretaries of state.

Former President Donald Trump’s attempts to reverse the results of the 2020 election and his subsequent endorsements of candidates for state election offices who are sympathetic to his view have elevated those races to top-tier status. At stake, say Democrats and others concerned about fair elections, is nothing less than American democracy.

“If they win the general election, we’ve got real problems on our hands,” said former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, a Republican who has pushed back against the false claims made by Trump and his allies about widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election. “This is an effort to replace the people who oversee these races — to change the rules to make the results come out the way they want them to.”

States United Action, a nonpartisan advocacy organization co-founded by Whitman, has been tracking secretary of state races and identified nearly two dozen Republican candidates who deny the results of the 2020 presidential election.

There is no proof of widespread fraud or wrongdoing. Judges, including ones appointed by Trump, dismissed dozens of lawsuits filed by the former president and his allies after the 2020 election.

Last year, an Associated Press review of every potential 2020 voter fraud case in the six states disputed by Trump found nowhere near enough cases to change the outcome.

When Soros announced he was funding races for state secretaries of state following Bush v Gore, you did not see the media call it a threat.

No, the media endorsed and supported those Soros candidates.

Anyone who watches "Rigged" or "2000 Mules" and believes the 2020 election was not stolen is either a complete sucker or is in on the steal. This gaslighting campaign by the criminal cartel that stole the 2020 election is a test of America's commitment to the principle stated in the Declaration of Independence.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,..

That is precisely what us “election deniers” seek to replace with honest and just election procedures with transparent vote counting. Me thinks the Governor likes the corrupt counting that keeps her in power and she opposes the integrity reforms because it might result in her changing careers.

Thanks for getting my blood boiling on a Saturday morning. I am so sick of these “media” enablers putting the narrative out that there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud, when it is everywhere you look.

Isn’t it interesting, how the media trot out Republicans to make their points? The implication being, see, even a prominent Republican like her, does not have these concerns about elections integrity, implying that those of us who are, are full of it.

Christine Todd Whitman is simply one in a line of useful idiots for the Democrats and the media, as they push their storylines. A storyline which will have the full approval of the Disinformation agency going forward.

It's not provable, but there are tons and tons and tons of evidence that shows a real Biden win was highly improbable and goes against mathematics.

The first part is true. If RINOs get ousted in the primaries and replaced by MAGA people, the Democrats and their embedded spies in the republican party are finished. This definitely is an effort to replace the RINO traitors who gave the Steal on a platter to the Dems by ignoring election law, refusing to enforce voter ID, and rolling over on the cheat-by-mail-in ballots and drop boxes.

This is what terrifies the Democrats -- the prospect of all their embedded RINO spies being voted out and replaced with MAGA people. They won't be able to steal 2024 if this happens.

They want to keep the discussion in the area of ballot counting fraud because they can successfully downplay that, with the old what’s a few missing or pinholed ballots here or there mean in a national election mantra. What they do not want anyone talking about is the way the legal system was used to strip the public of the constitutional protections of their voting rights by the likes of the indicted Marc Elias. They used lawfare to go around state governments and state constitutions, and then used peer pressure to prevent a response to these gross violations of state laws, the usurpation of state authority.
